Los buenos, los malos, los que definen nuestro ser. \u00bfPodemos dejar eso por un segundo? <\/span>\u00bfPodemos hablar de qui\u00e9nes somos sin los hombres? \u00bfEn qui\u00e9n nos convertimos cuando nos miramos al espejo?<\/b> Porque hablamos de todos estos hombres t\u00f3xicos<\/a>, and we don\u2019t know why we let them in. We don\u2019t know how we let them take so much from us. We don\u2019t know why we make the same mistakes over and over again. But I do. It\u2019s because we don\u2019t like what we see when we look in the mirror.<\/span> C\u00f3mo dejamos que la gente nos trate es un reflejo directo de c\u00f3mo nos sentimos con nosotros mismos.<\/b> Regardless of how honestly we come by our shitty self-esteem, we have to overcome it. No matter how many times we\u2019ve been brow-beaten, bullied or somehow made to feel we aren\u2019t good enough, we have to believe that we are.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is so much evidence out there to derail us; TV, magazines, Photoshop, and the freaking Internet telling us that we don\u2019t live up to societal expectations. That what we look like isn\u2019t right and we need to fix this or enhance that. That we need to have a certain thing and be a certain size to be good enough. <\/span>Tenemos pastillas, pociones y habitaciones del p\u00e1nico para salvarnos de nosotros mismos y de los demonios que creamos en nuestra mente. <\/b>Todas las pruebas apuntan a nuestros fallos. Y nunca podremos estar a la altura de los Jones, por mucho que lo intentemos. <\/span><\/p>\n

We turn to alcohol, drugs, and reality TV to escape our own shitty realities\u2026 and that\u2019s how they get in.<\/span> The sociopaths and the narcissists and all of the toxic, life-draining, emotional vampires\u2026 they seep in through the cracks of our lowered self-esteem and numb us with their intoxicating presence.<\/b> They reinforce the negative opinions we\u2019ve been conditioned to have of ourselves and it is so hard to fight against your own negative self-talk.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the solution?<\/span> \u00bfC\u00f3mo evitamos a todos los gilipollas cotidianos que nos despojan de nuestra autoestima por deporte? Nos amamos a nosotros mismos. Nos miramos al espejo y nos retamos a AMAR absoluta e incondicionalmente lo que vemos. <\/b>Aceptamos nuestras imperfecciones y nos negamos a que nos hagan sentir peque\u00f1os por ellas. Pasamos tiempo con nosotros mismos, averiguando qui\u00e9nes somos y qu\u00e9 nos gusta, y hacemos esas cosas. Nosotras hacernos felices<\/a> porque merecemos ser felices. <\/span>Nos dedicamos a asegurarnos de que nos tratan como reinas, porque somos reinas.<\/b> And when we do\u2026 anything less will be a joke. <\/span>Tienes que ser capaz de decirle a un hombre,<\/span> \u201cIf you want to be with me, you will have to treat me as well as or better than I treat myself and I hold me to a pretty high standard,\u201d<\/b> and mean it. Because if you don\u2019t believe it, neither will they.<\/span><\/p>\n
