Sadia Khan (@sadiapsychology<\/a>) has a totally different view on cheating that\u2019s quite controversial. She was in a podcast where she talked about women who stay in a relationship even if they get cheated on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, this will ruffle some feathers for sure! I don\u2019t think it\u2019s really fair to generalize women since I know a lot of them who got cheated on but were always loyal. I\u2019m sure hay mujeres a las que les puede parecer bien, \u00a1pero definitivamente no a todas!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadia explained her point by saying why loyal women would never stay and tolerate infidelity. However, women in the comments weren\u2019t happy with her explanation and said she was completely wrong. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the relationship coach, loyal women can\u2019t tolerate and handle cheating because they could never betray their partner like that.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cWhat happens is that the woman that\u2019s actually loyal and really loves you, she can\u2019t handle the anxiety of it, she can\u2019t do it \u2018cause she\u2019s too loyal, she\u2019s too loving. She disappears, she makes her life hell, she\u2019s horrible but she tends to be loyal.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Por otro lado, a las mujeres infieles no les importa si su pareja las enga\u00f1a <\/strong>because they\u2019re usually in the relationship for other benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA woman who\u2019s there for a paycheck and who is there sneaky accepting this and the other, I promise you, she\u2019s plotting her revenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

I think it\u2019s much more complex than that. My friend stayed with her boyfriend because she believed he made a mistake and regretted it. She realized later on she should\u2019ve never forgiven him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One user even said she stayed because she had nowhere to go since she couldn\u2019t financially support herself. And this is a pretty common situation. Another user commented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI disagree. Sometimes u stay in the hope the other person will change or because u can\u2019t see yourself start over again. Ppl think they know it all this days.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Only a few people agreed with Sadia and one even admitted she\u2019s one of the women that tolerates cheating because of other things that relationship provides for her. She wrote:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’ve been cheated on. I stayed not because of love but because of all the other benefits. And yes, I’m plotting my revenge.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

As I said, Sadia was definitely right about some women but her point can\u2019t be applied to every toxic relationship since cada persona tiene una situaci\u00f3n y un punto de vista diferentes sobre la infidelidad. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ultimately, deciding whether to stay or dump them is never easy. Whatever someone decides, we can\u2019t judge them since we don\u2019t know their full story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, tolerating disrespect and betrayal shouldn\u2019t be normalized. This is why conversations about boundaries and self-respect will always be important.
