Es como una ley no escrita que dice que si vas detr\u00e1s de algo, si sigues persigui\u00e9ndolo, cada vez se aleja m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Lo mismo ocurre con el amor. Cuanto m\u00e1s piensas en \u00e9l, cuanto m\u00e1s te esfuerzas por conseguirlo, antes se te escapa de las manos.<\/p>\n

Recuerdo que me despertaba en mitad de la noche jadeando, aterrorizada de no encontrar nunca a la elegida.<\/p>\n

Que acabar\u00e9 solo. Que el tiempo se me escapar\u00e1. Que ser\u00e9 demasiado viejo. Que no tendr\u00e9 a nadie m\u00e1s que a m\u00ed mismo a quien recurrir.<\/p>\n

Those dreams and those thoughts haunted me so much that I became desperate in my mission of finding \u201cthe one\u201d. I moved too fast.<\/p>\n

I expected too much too soon. I lived in delusion instead of living in reality. That\u2019s why I would always end up with someone utterly wrong for me.<\/p>\n

I decided to stop allowing my desire for love to cloud my judgments. I stopped inviting toxic men into my life by not allowing them to treat me poorly\u2014by not being the one they could easily mess around and manipulate.<\/p>\n

Eventually, I got what I wanted. Without chasing for love, I let it come to me. And it took its precious time. It didn\u2019t come when I expected it.<\/p>\n

It came unannounced and in the most awkward moment. I wasn\u2019t looking for love anymore. I did my own thing and just let things happen.<\/p>\n

Now I know why it hadn\u2019t worked out with anyone before. The things I feel for him now are beyond anything I ever felt for anybody.<\/p>\n
