Aunque he tenido algunas relaciones duraderas en el pasado, hace tiempo que estoy soltero.<\/p>\n

La verdad es que me llev\u00f3 alg\u00fan tiempo abrazar mi vida de soltero<\/a> completamente y ver todas sus ventajas, pero ahora disfruto de casi cada segundo.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, me guste admitirlo o no, echo de menos algunas cosas de estar en una relaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong. I know my single status is not a death sentence and this doesn\u2019t mean I feel like I\u2019m missing out on something nor that I think I am incomplete because I don\u2019t have a romantic partner.<\/p>\n

Also, it\u2019s not that I think some of these things are worthy of being in an unhealthy relationship which doesn\u2019t make you happy because they certainly are not.<\/p>\n

Pero hay algunas peque\u00f1as cosas que a veces echo de menos de tener novio y aqu\u00ed van 5 de ellas.<\/p>\n

La intimidad<\/h2>\n

Lo primero que echo de menos de tener novio es tener una pareja \u00edntima.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get one thing straight. I am not talking about sex only here. I am talking about missing someone to just sleep next to and someone to cuddle with after a long day.<\/p>\n

Cuando estaba en una relaci\u00f3n, compartir la cama con mi pareja me molestaba la mayor parte del tiempo. Pero ahora, a veces, cuando me siento sola, incluso echo de menos saber que tengo a alguien durmiendo a mi lado.<\/p>\n

Echo de menos a alguien que camine a mi lado, que me coja de la mano. Alguien que me abrace inesperadamente por detr\u00e1s o que me bese suavemente.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, when I\u2019m feeling down, I miss having someone just holding me in his arms, without asking me anything.<\/p>\n

Tener a alguien a quien enviar mensajes de texto todo el tiempo<\/h2>\n

When you are in a relationship, especially if it\u2019s a larga relaci\u00f3n<\/a>Probablemente tengas la costumbre de enviar mensajes de texto o llamar a tu pareja a todas horas durante el d\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Puede que esto te parezca gracioso y sin importancia, pero cuando ten\u00eda pareja, me acostumbr\u00e9 a tener a alguien con quien compartir la m\u00e1s m\u00ednima cosa que me hubiera pasado durante el d\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Y cuando romp\u00ed con mi ex, esto fue lo que m\u00e1s ech\u00e9 de menos.<\/p>\n

I simply didn\u2019t know what to do with my hands and I caught myself wanting to call him more than once.<\/p>\n

Aunque ha pasado mucho tiempo, a veces sigo teniendo el impulso de enviarle mensajes de texto al azar, s\u00f3lo para compartir algo con \u00e9l.<\/p>\n

No tener que salir con nadie<\/h2>\n

Aunque salir con alguien es algo que te hace ilusi\u00f3n cuando acabas de salir de una relaci\u00f3n, lo cierto es que al final te cansas de intentar encontrar al chico perfecto.<\/p>\n

I am not saying that there doesn\u2019t exist a man for me nor that I am looking for him at all costs because I am definitely not. But I have to admit that sometimes I get exhausted and pressured from trying to find him.<\/p>\n

Because let\u2019s face it: you have to meet a lot of immature guys, douchebags, players, fuckboys or generally guys you don\u2019t like and don\u2019t have anything in common with before you find someone compatible for you.<\/p>\n

And when you are in a stable relationship, you don\u2019t have to go on dates that might not end well and don\u2019t have to bother with meeting new guys.<\/p>\n

El romance<\/h2>\n

Cuando eres un rom\u00e1ntico empedernido<\/a> como yo, disfrutas de las peque\u00f1as cosas de la relaci\u00f3n. Y esas son las cosas que echas de menos cuando est\u00e1s soltero, te guste admitirlo o no.<\/p>\n

Now that I\u2019m not in a relationship, I miss having someone show up on my doorstep at midnight on my birthday, having someone bring me flowers without any special occasion or having someone fill my room with candles or balloons on our anniversary.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I miss having someone open the door for me or escort me home; someone to hold my coat or to give me his jacket when it\u2019s cold.<\/p>\n

Sexo regular<\/h2>\n

I\u2019ve never been someone who is into casual sex, one night stands or friends with benefits type of relationships.<\/p>\n

But that doesn\u2019t mean I don\u2019t enjoy having sex because I certainly do. And the only way for someone like me to have regular sex is to be in a real relationship.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que s\u00ed, todas las mujeres solteras echan de menos tener relaciones sexuales de forma regular y cualquiera que te diga lo contrario est\u00e1 definitivamente mintiendo.<\/p>\n

This doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019ll ever get involved with someone just to have some action, but I definitely do miss having it.<\/p>\n
