<\/p>\nWhen someone walks out on us, we are so devastated that we don\u2019t see that they actually did us a favor. They gave us an opportunity to live a better life with the sole fact that they are not a part of it.<\/p>\n
A veces nos acostumbramos tanto a que las cosas sean p\u00e9simas, malas e hirientes que todo se convierte en normal.<\/p>\n
Permanecemos en una mala relaci\u00f3n, soportamos un comportamiento intolerable, porque seguimos pensando que las cosas mejorar\u00e1n.<\/p>\n
Antes de que nos demos cuenta, los d\u00edas, los meses e incluso los a\u00f1os pasan muy deprisa y nada cambia. Las cosas est\u00e1n incluso peor. Sin embargo, nos quedamos y luchamos.<\/p>\n
Aunque signifique luchar por nuestra cuenta. Aunque signifique amar, dar, invertir por dos. Seguimos haci\u00e9ndolo hasta que nos destruimos por completo.<\/p>\n
We maybe didn\u2019t know how to walk away but fortunately they did. They left us while there was still time. While we could still find ourself.<\/p>\n

Tuvimos la oportunidad de recrear nuestra vida. Porque lo \u00fanico que hicieron fue retenernos. Su comportamiento indeciso, sus idas y venidas y sus migajas de cari\u00f1o nos dejaron deseando todo lo que nunca tuvimos. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
Siempre ansi\u00e1bamos m\u00e1s. M\u00e1s del amor, m\u00e1s de la vida y, lo m\u00e1s importante, m\u00e1s de nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n
Ha llegado el momento de hacernos felices.<\/p>\n
Est\u00e1bamos privados de amor. Siempre est\u00e1bamos solos, incluso cuando estaban ellos. Quer\u00edamos m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n, m\u00e1s calor, hombros fuertes y un o\u00eddo atento.<\/p>\n
We never asked for too much but the problem was that we kept expecting it from the wrong person. From a person who didn\u2019t know the true meaning of commitment.<\/p>\n
They didn’t know how to give back everything that they were receiving. Their selfish nature made them take and take and take until there was nothing left.<\/p>\n
You see, we didn\u2019t lose anything because of their absence\u2014we actually gained from it.<\/b><\/p>\n

Our life is more peaceful now. We don\u2019t have to live in that emotional roller coaster anymore.<\/p>\n
Our feelings don\u2019t have to fluctuate up and down and depend on the behavior of someone who takes them for granted.<\/p>\n
We don’t have to listen to lies and question if there is any truth to them. We don\u2019t have to put up with mind games and emotional neglect.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t look at our phone, waiting for that reply that should have come hours ago. We don\u2019t have to ask anybody to find a moment or two to spend with us. We don\u2019t have to wait anymore.<\/p>\n
Esperamos a que las cosas mejoraran, a que \u00e9l cambiara, a que nos tratara como merec\u00edamos, a estar preparados para esto y aquello y todo se redujo a esperar. Vivir para lo que podr\u00eda ser en lugar de vivir para el ahora.<\/p>\n
Est\u00e1bamos enjaulados por toda esa espera y ahora somos libres. Libres por fin para vivir nuestra vida como queramos.<\/p>\n

Vivir el presente y no avanzar hacia el futuro, cuando las cosas puedan mejorar en nuestra relaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Las cosas est\u00e1n mejorando en este instante porque as\u00ed lo hemos decidido. Esta vez elegimos amarnos primero a nosotros mismos.<\/p>\n
Elegimos ver todo lo positivo que ha salido de todo este l\u00edo.<\/p>\n
Decidimos ver el final de esa relaci\u00f3n de mierda como lo mejor que nos pod\u00eda haber pasado.<\/p>\n
