Todos los ni\u00f1os merecen tener un pap\u00e1 y una mam\u00e1. S\u00e9 que a menudo se dice que las madres son las que a veces desempe\u00f1an ambos papeles haciendo un esfuerzo adicional por sus hijos, pero en mi caso, t\u00fa fuiste el \u00fanico que se esforz\u00f3. Por llevarme de la mano durante tanto tiempo, cuidando de que nunca me pasara nada malo. Now, I understand that you loved me even when I didn\u2019t love myself. You always gave me enough space and time so I could become the person I am today. You never mocked my dreams, telling me that something was impossible but you were always the wind beneath my wings, telling me that I just needed to close my eyes and wish really hard for something to happen. Because of you, I made my dreams come true and for that, I will always be thankful to you.<\/p>\n

Thank you for being proud of me for every single success that I achieved. Thank you for cheering for me, not only for yourself but as a dad, too. Thank you for making sure that I never felt that he wasn’t there. Thank you for being both my mom and dad, Mom!<\/p>\n

Now that I have kids of my own, I can see how hard it is to raise them even if they have a dad who is always there. And I can\u2019t imagine how hard it was for you to raise me when we were alone and when you had to work two different jobs just to provide me with the things I needed for school.<\/p>\n

Thank you for putting up with me when I was angry at you. Thank you for not leaving me alone so you could go around and enjoy your life with another man. Thank you for putting your love life on hold just so I wouldn\u2019t feel neglected. Mom, thank you for everything! Because of you, I am the person I am today.<\/p>\n

Gracias por estar siempre a mi lado, por pasar noches en vela mientras estaba enferma, cuidando de m\u00ed. Como cualquier madre, siempre me miraste como alguien que necesitaba tu protecci\u00f3n. Pero esta vez quiero que descanses. Mam\u00e1, s\u00e9 que ya te est\u00e1s haciendo mayor, as\u00ed que, por favor, d\u00e9jame protegerte. D\u00e9jame ser el muro en el que te puedes apoyar cada vez que sientas que te vas a caer. D\u00e9jame ser tu roca mam\u00e1, como t\u00fa fuiste la m\u00eda todo este tiempo.<\/p>\n
