I really started to worry when I read some articles about what makes good wife material. It\u2019s like the 1950\u2019s all over again.<\/p>\n

And all I can say is that is all BS. A woman doesn\u2019t have to do anything or be anything unless she wants to. For the right men, that will constitute perfect wife material.<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

There are so many things people say a woman should and shouldn\u2019t do, but there is only one that is true: all you should do is stay true to yourself, and be honest about it.<\/p>\n

So what if you don\u2019t want to give up your career, ambitions and dreams to fit the role of a wife? The two shouldn\u2019t exclude one another.<\/p>\n

Why wouldn\u2019t you cook and prepare delicious meals if you enjoyed doing that? Why wouldn\u2019t you be a stay-at-home mom if you wanted to?<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let them tell you that a woman should sacrifice her own happiness for the man she loves. When love is true, there is no need for sacrifice and putting yourself last.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let them tell you that you should put up with somebody’s poor behavior, cheating or abuse because you are his wife on paper. If you were truly a wife in his heart, he would never treat you like that.<\/p>\n
