A veces, el a\u00f1o pasado fue un infierno.<\/p>\n

Pero ahora veo que vali\u00f3 la pena. Todo el dolor, todos los obst\u00e1culos y desaf\u00edos que me trajo valieron la pena.<\/p>\n

Porque 2024 me doli\u00f3, pero tambi\u00e9n me ense\u00f1\u00f3 valiosas lecciones de vida.<\/p>\n

Most of all\u2014it showed me that I am strong enough to always rise from the ashes and that nothing can break me.<\/p>\n

Perdonar<\/h2>\n

The first thing 2024 taught me was about the importance of forgiveness. But I didn\u2019t learn this the easy way.<\/p>\n

Instead, I had to go through months of holding grudges and resentment before I realized that sometimes, you just have to accept the apology you didn\u2019t get.<\/p>\n

And you don\u2019t need to do it for the person who has done you harm\u2014you have to do it for your own sake because that is the only path to complete liberation.<\/p>\n

T\u00fa eres tu h\u00e9roe propio<\/a><\/h2>\n

Antes de este a\u00f1o, habr\u00eda jurado que siempre pod\u00eda contar con al menos cinco personas en mi vida.<\/p>\n

Durante mucho tiempo, aspir\u00e9 a ser perfecta. Y siempre me esforc\u00e9 por tener relaciones perfectas con la gente que me rodeaba.<\/p>\n

After understanding that I can\u2019t actually rely on anyone, I\u2019ve finally accepted the fact that people will come and go from my life, as much as I try to keep them.<\/p>\n

La verdad es que puedes amar a alguien con todo tu coraz\u00f3n y puedes estar seguro de \u00e9l, pero todav\u00eda existe la posibilidad de que elija a otra persona en lugar de a ti.<\/p>\n

A\u00fan existe la posibilidad de que se alejen de ti cuando menos te lo esperas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfPero sabes qu\u00e9 es lo mejor de todo esto?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the fact that life goes on even after someone abandons you. There doesn\u2019t exist a person in this world who you can\u2019t live without\u2014I can guarantee you that.<\/p>\n

Puedes poner todo tu empe\u00f1o en una relaci\u00f3n con alguien que nunca se esfuerza a tu lado.<\/p>\n

Puedes dar todo tu amor a un hombre que nunca te amar\u00e1 lo suficiente.<\/p>\n

Puedes hacer sacrificios por alguien que nunca estar\u00e1 dispuesto a mover un dedo por tu bien.<\/p>\n

2024 me ense\u00f1\u00f3 a no tener expectativas de nadie m\u00e1s que de m\u00ed misma.<\/p>\n

Me ense\u00f1\u00f3 que algunas personas nunca te apreciar\u00e1n, por mucho que les des de ti mismo.<\/p>\n

But it also taught me that I wasn\u2019t a fool for wearing my heart on my sleeve.<\/p>\n

La forma en que me agradecieron algunas cosas es su verg\u00fcenza y ellos son los \u00fanicos culpables de ello.<\/p>\n

No todo el mundo tiene buen coraz\u00f3n<\/h2>\n

Y por desgracia para m\u00ed, tuve que aprenderlo por las malas.<\/p>\n

La verdad es que hay personas t\u00f3xicas que se aprovechar\u00e1n de ti, personas que te romper\u00e1n el coraz\u00f3n sin pensar en las consecuencias y personas que utilizar\u00e1n tus vulnerabilidades en tu contra.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que, en lugar de pensar en sus razones y en lugar de preguntarte por qu\u00e9 alguien te ha hecho da\u00f1o, ac\u00e9ptalo como es y al\u00e9jate a tiempo.<\/p>\n

People don’t change<\/h2>\n

2024 me ense\u00f1\u00f3 que tu love can\u2019t change someone<\/a> a menos que decidan hacerlo ellos mismos.<\/p>\n

E incluso cuando lo hacen, algunos de sus rasgos esenciales de personalidad siguen siendo los mismos.<\/p>\n

Puedes darle todo el amor que tengas, puedes poner todo tu empe\u00f1o y dedicarte por completo a alguien, pero nunca se convertir\u00e1 en la persona que t\u00fa quieres que sea.<\/p>\n

Love isn’t always enough<\/h2>\n

One of the most painful things this past year has taught me is that sometimes, love isn\u2019t enough.<\/p>\n

S\u00ed, el amor es algo asombroso pero, por desgracia, no es omnipotente, por mucho que quisiera creer que lo fuera.<\/p>\n

A veces hay que pasar por muchas cosas para entender lo que importa en la vida.<\/p>\n

Y eso es exactamente lo que me ocurri\u00f3 a m\u00ed.<\/p>\n

Even though I didn\u2019t believe it at first, eventually I realized that everything happens for a reason and for the greater good.<\/p>\n

Cada una de las cicatrices que me trajo 2024 acab\u00f3 siendo valiosa y todo el dolor por el que pas\u00e9 me ayud\u00f3 a convertirme en la mujer que soy hoy.<\/p>\n
