2024, ha sido un placer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a long ride of ups and downs\u2014maybe more downs than ups, but it had to be like that. I get it. I had to learn all the lessons you wanted to teach me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nosotros, este a\u00f1o y yo, ten\u00edamos que terminarlo con una explosi\u00f3n. De lo contrario, no habr\u00eda aprendido nada.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to lose so many things in order to appreciate what was coming. I had to hit rock bottom to learn to rise again\u2014stronger, smarter, better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve let me make one mistake after another because you wanted to teach me a lesson. You wanted me to never do that again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that your and my chapter is coming to an end, I\u2019m not angry anymore.<\/b> I was in the beginning. I couldn\u2019t accept what was happening to me. I couldn\u2019t accept so many bad things coming one after the other.<\/p>\n\n\n

I couldn\u2019t believe it was all happening at the same time, like a chain reaction that had no intention of stopping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahora, me doy cuenta de que todo lo que estaba pasando era por una raz\u00f3n<\/b>. All the mistakes I\u2019ve made were paving the road to a happier future. I just couldn\u2019t see it right away. But I know it now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was so scared of endings. I was dreading goodbyes. They meant something was over, and over means sadness. It means loneliness. But what I didn\u2019t see was that with every ending starts something new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Endings don\u2019t have to be depressing and hurtful. Endings mean that something different is going to happen. <\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Algo diferente significa cambio, y el cambio es bueno porque despu\u00e9s de cada cap\u00edtulo cerrado viene otro.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it\u2019s up to me to decide whether that chapter is going to take a turn for worse than I\u2019ve already felt or for the better. It\u2019s up to all of us. We make our own destinies.<\/p>\n\n\n

2024, me ense\u00f1aste a creer en m\u00ed misma cuando m\u00e1s insegura me sent\u00eda. Me ense\u00f1aste a levantarme y luchar cuando lo \u00fanico que quer\u00eda era meterme en la cama y no levantarme nunca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me hiciste escuchar esa vocecita interior que no paraba de decir: \u201cTry, be better, be stronger, try harder!\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me desafiaste y me obligaste a superar mis l\u00edmites, a ver realmente lo que era capaz de hacer. Me sacaste de mi zona de confort y me hiciste enfrentarme a mis miedos en lugar de huir. Gracias por ello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this year, I\u2019ve learned what it really means to be brave and take advantage of all the possibilities I have in front of me. I just had to grab every moment I thought would bring me change. A change for the better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve learned that you cannot be stuck in the past. You have to look ahead because if you don\u2019t seize the moment that is coming, that moment will never come back. It\u2019s better to go for it than to miss out on it and regret it for the rest of your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024, me ense\u00f1aste a vivir el presente, dejar atr\u00e1s el pasado y mirar hacia el futuro.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n

You\u2019ve taught me that every mistake I made was for a reason. Every wrong move I made led me to something new. I just didn\u2019t see it then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024, the mistakes I\u2019ve made brought me to my breaking point, but the strength I\u2019ve gained made me get passed it.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear 2024, you\u2019ve thrown me surprises I didn\u2019t expect. You\u2019ve tossed me into a horrible storm with wind throwing me back and forth. You\u2019ve ridden me on emotional roller coasters and brought me to destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But dear 2024, you\u2019ve also given me hope, optimism, and faith that I can survive all the bad luck and the lousy hand of cards I was given.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Porque ya ves, aqu\u00ed estoy, al final de otro a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, esperando para empezar otra historia de las muchas que quedan por venir.<\/p>\n\n\n

Throughout out the turbulent times, millions of things happening all of a sudden, you didn\u2019t beat me down the whole way. You still decided to show me there is always a way out, that there is always a solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Me diste la fuerza que nunca supe que ten\u00eda. Me ense\u00f1aste lecciones que nunca olvidar\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024, I\u2019m sad you\u2019re coming to an end because that means I\u2019m leaving the past in the past. But 2024, I\u2019m happy that you\u2019re finally over because that means I get to do things all over again. I get a fresh start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can do whatever my heart wants. I can pursue my dreams. I can let go of things I don\u2019t want to remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024, thank you for all the mistakes I\u2019ve made. Thank you for helping me become a different person than I was a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n
