All of this talking about the characteristics of a real man, things they should do or not do to make us happy, all of these guides and signs on how to find the real one or how you can change him to start treating you right\u2026<\/p>\n

All this time, I\u2019ve been in pursuit of finding the right one for me. To find someone who will exhibit certain traits that will fit my definition of a real man.<\/p>\n

After a few failures, I\u2019ve realized that there\u2019s no point in seeking perfection because it simply doesn\u2019t exist.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve become sick of all of those narcissistic boys, their selfishness and sweet nothings.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve realized that I don\u2019t need perfection, just a grown-ass man with his shit together.<\/b><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t need a boy with a perfect body and face, flawless, with a perfect mind. All I need is a grown-ass man who will stick to his words and promises.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not looking for someone to take me to the moon or the stars. I\u2019m looking for someone who will be willing to gaze at them with me on long, hot, summer nights.<\/p>\n

And I don\u2019t think I\u2019m asking for much.<\/p>\n

My previous disappointments with men have actually taught me not to expect much of them and that is why I wholeheartedly and solemnly swear that I don\u2019t and will never look for perfection.<\/p>\n

I need a man who will understand the seriousness of other people\u2019s feelings and this complex thing called love.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t need someone who will fight for me only to fulfill his egotistical purposes.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t expect to be showered with honey, milk and gold. I don\u2019t expect any of the luxuries that we\u2019re bombarded with today.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t need them because I believe in modesty and the beauty of little things. I don\u2019t need someone who will buy me three hundred roses to persuade me of his love.<\/p>\n
