Throughout the whole of high school, we felt like outcasts because we didn\u2019t like bullying or laughing at someone because of a few extra pounds, the funny hairstyle, or the way somebody dressed.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s just not fair to laugh at someone for what he is. That\u2019s why high school was hell for us.<\/p>\n
La gente nos quita m\u00e1s de lo que nos da.<\/strong><\/p>\n That\u2019s why we often feel used. All the kindness is just sucked out of our bodies because \u2018we\u2019re the nice people\u2019. Just because we\u2019re nice doesn\u2019t mean you get to use us.<\/p>\n Just because we smile often doesn\u2019t mean you can invade our happiness. Just because we appear tough doesn\u2019t mean you can leave us broken.<\/p>\n We\u2019re always there for everybody\u2014no matter their value in our lives and yet, in the times of our need, we have few people to rely on. We believe there are good people out there\u2014there is a guy who\u2019ll know how to love a woman, there are still printed books that have a unique smell, and there is a warm blanket to touch the body and cup of coffee or glass of wine to touch the soul.<\/p>\n Kindness is everything to us and it\u2019s painful to see it fading from the face of the earth.<\/p>\n We\u2019re always the a los que cuidar y amar m\u00e1s. <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n There is nobody out there willing to compete with us in love. There is nobody to say \u2018I love you more\u2019. We don\u2019t even get half of the love we give. It doesn\u2019t even matter if we\u2019re talking about the family, friends, or the guy we\u2019re dating.<\/p>\n People just don\u2019t get our efforts.<\/strong><\/p>\n We\u2019d sacrifice our own happiness to see people we love happy. We\u2019re often asked \u2018Why are you so affected by x events\u2019 or \u2018What does it have to do with you?\u2019\u2014and it has everything to do with us. It\u2019s just our empathy thing\u2014we feel everything. And it\u2019s intense.<\/p>\n Girls like me don\u2019t get to be happy because we\u2019re misunderstood.<\/strong><\/p>\n Because we\u2019re a disappearing species and people forgot about the existence of las chicas que se preocupan<\/a> y que aman.<\/p>\n We don\u2019t care about the size of your wallet, the car you drive, or if your daddy is famous.
