Adem\u00e1s, ten\u00eda una relaci\u00f3n estable de larga duraci\u00f3n. Su vida era todo lo que siempre quise para m\u00ed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember one day we were having a latt\u00e9 in our favourite cafe and she said that her boyfriend is near, driving around in his car and that she is just going to give him kiss hello. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember thinking and saying to her,\u201cOmg, that\u2019s super cute.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n As time passed, we started becoming really close friends. I told her that she has the greatest life ever: \u201cYou are beautiful, finishing up college, everyone likes you, and you are in this great relationship full of understanding and trust.\u201d She kind of smirked when I said that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On another occasion, we went for a jog and her boyfriend, whom I still hadn\u2019t met, called her and asked where we were going. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I made a joke and took her phone and said, \u201cWe\u2019re going out with these handsome guys from university.\u201d I noticed how uncomfortable she was.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I don\u2019t recall what happened in between; she graduated and I still had two more semesters, so I went back to university and she called me,saying they\u2019d broken up. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Me lo cont\u00f3 todo en una especie de c\u00f3digo, como si tuviera miedo de hablar por tel\u00e9fono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cuando volv\u00ed a casa me lo confes\u00f3 todo. Dijo que ten\u00eda miedo de romper con \u00e9l porque amenazaba con suicidarse o matar a su familia y a ella.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Le lav\u00f3 el cerebro y ella ten\u00eda miedo de cont\u00e1rselo a alguien. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n At one point she was afraid to ask him to go to the movies and see the new James Bond film just because he might think that she is \u201cin love with the actor,\u201d then freak out and hurt her physically.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Eventually, he broke up with her although she played by his rules. He was obviously mental and he couldn\u2019t cope with himself anymore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n She was finally saved although she wanted to even get back together with him \u2013 classical Stockholm syndrome. Luckily, he moved away and she realized that freedom is the most important thing in life for her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She thought she\u2019d never find anyone again. Her self esteem was shot and she\u2019d completely lost faith in men, but she fell in love again with the greatest guy ever to whom I introduced her. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Por fin es feliz y vive la vida que siempre dese\u00f3.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n A veces me sorprendo a m\u00ed misma quej\u00e1ndome de un tipo cualquiera que me hizo da\u00f1o y me baj\u00f3 la autoestima, entonces pienso en ella y dejo de quejarme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Es una persona tan buena y fuerte que consigui\u00f3 salir de todo esto s\u00f3lo porque cre\u00eda en el amor y en que hay gente buena ah\u00ed fuera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have a friend whom I\u2019ve known practically my entire life.
