Querido 'Amor de mi vida',<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Escribo esta carta por muchas razones. En primer lugar, la escribo porque quiero desprenderme por fin de este dolor que llevo dentro.<\/p>\n

Secondly, I am writing it because I want you to have a piece of paper that will be a reminder of all that nasty things you did to me\u2014and we both know that there were many of them.<\/p>\n

Ver\u00e1s, siempre so\u00f1\u00e9 que me casar\u00eda con un solo hombre y que... va a ser para siempre.<\/a> I thought to myself that I will experience the kind of love that feels like home\u2014pure, innocent and lovely.<\/p>\n

Ten\u00eda planes para nuestras vidas. Imaginaba a nuestros hijos corriendo por la casa mientras t\u00fa los persegu\u00edas.<\/p>\n

I imagined our Christmases spent together while we are watching movies under the blanket and drinking hot chocolate. You know, I dreamed about a lot of things\u2014beautiful ones.<\/p>\n

Pero un d\u00eda, de repente, descubr\u00ed que me enga\u00f1aste.<\/a> A\u00fan recuerdo el d\u00eda en que llegaste a casa y admitiste que hab\u00eda alguien m\u00e1s en tu vida.<\/p>\n

And it was too bad that woman wasn\u2019t me. After you told me everything about her, I thought that you were kidding with me. I thought that you just wanted to see my reaction. But you were dead serious.<\/p>\n

Y al mirarte a los ojos, me di cuenta de que se hab\u00eda acabado. Todo lo que hab\u00edamos estado construyendo todos esos a\u00f1os hab\u00eda terminado. Cada sue\u00f1o, cada esperanza, cada aspiraci\u00f3n. Todo fue en vano.<\/p>\n

I just stood there, completely broken, staring at the wall in front of me. I was trying to say something but there wasn\u2019t anything clever coming out of my mouth.<\/p>\n

So, I just left. I packed my bags without a word and I left you. I felt like an injured wolf who needs to be alone to heal his wounds. My ego was shaken. My whole world was falling apart and I didn\u2019t have any common sense.<\/p>\n

I hope she is worth all my pain and my tears. And I hope that you will be able to develop a normal and stable relationship with her. Maybe you didn\u2019t love me enough.<\/p>\n

Maybe our relationship already died but we weren\u2019t aware of that fact. Maybe we let our happiness slip away. And just maybe we didn\u2019t put enough effort into our story.<\/p>\n

When I look back, I don\u2019t regret anything. I am a strong woman and I can deal with my pain. Honestly, es mucho mejor que me hayas dejado<\/a>, but I would prefer that you hadn\u2019t cheated on me.<\/p>\n

I think I deserved that after all those years we spent together. Unfortunately, you did it on your own. You were selfish and you weren\u2019t thinking about me. What else could I have expected from a man like you?<\/p>\n

You broke me and you didn\u2019t even ask me if I needed any help. We could have talked about it like adults. You could have been sincere with me.<\/p>\n

You could have told me that you don\u2019t feel anything for me and that you want to be with someone else. But you didn\u2019t. And that is breaking my heart.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t just cheat on me, you cheated on us. You didn\u2019t just break my heart, you broke our future. And that is something I will never forgive you.<\/p>\n

And in the end, I have a message for you: \u201cYou can continue cheating yourself, but ME, never again!\u201d<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
