Let\u2019s never forget that nurses are the ones who are closest to us in the most vulnerable moments in our life.<\/p>\n

There aren\u2019t many professions that include being present at the most significant events in people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

They are the silent heroes in the background of our life, rooting for us in the good times and the bad times and sometimes we don\u2019t even notice them. Let\u2019s change that!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget that nurses have their own families too.<\/p>\n

Son madres, hermanas, hijas y esposas, as\u00ed como padres, hermanos, hijos y maridos.<\/p>\n

Sus familias se preocupan por ellos y por su bienestar cada d\u00eda.<\/p>\n

A pesar de todo, su pasi\u00f3n y su af\u00e1n por ayudar a la gente es lo que les empuja a hacer su trabajo cada d\u00eda y a no rendirse nunca.<\/p>\n

3. Cuidan de nosotros de la misma manera que cuidan de sus seres queridos<\/h2>\n

Nurses don\u2019t see the differences between humans, they only see people in need, people who need care and help.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why their vocation is one of the most selfless vocations in the world.<\/p>\n

4. Cambiaron la historia de la humanidad con su bondad<\/h2>\n

Hay tantos ejemplos en la historia en los que las enfermeras salvaron de una crisis a personas como colectivo, y tambi\u00e9n a individuos.<\/p>\n

Ya en el siglo XIX, las enfermeras fueron quienes introdujeron pr\u00e1cticas sanitarias durante las guerras y salvaron a miles de personas, si no m\u00e1s, de contraer infecciones y morir.<\/p>\n

Fueron ellos quienes ayudaron a los pacientes que padec\u00edan enfermedades de transmisi\u00f3n desconocida cuando todos los dem\u00e1s ten\u00edan miedo de hacerlo.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t leave them to die alone.<\/p>\n

Nurses invented many things and discovered many useful practices that save people\u2019s lives to this day, just by being there for their patients, listening to their needs and caring for their health and lives.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget to mention all the occasions when nurses react in time and save people in public places by recognizing symptoms of strokes and other dangers. True heroes!<\/p>\n

5. Son seres humanos extremadamente valientes<\/h2>\n

To be a nurse is to be a brave human being. To put patients\u2019 needs first is something remarkable and worthy of praise after all.<\/p>\n

Muchas enfermeras a lo largo de la historia fueron voluntarias que arriesgaron su vida en tiempos de guerra y epidemias, vieron cosas inimaginables y, aun as\u00ed, aguantaron y lucharon por el bien.<\/p>\n

Nurses have acted with courage and selflessness in almost every disaster that has happened to humankind and that\u2019s why we need to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.<\/p>\n

Da las gracias a las enfermeras de tu vida<\/a> y en tu comunidad y haz que se sientan reconocidos.<\/p>\n

Without nurses, the world wouldn\u2019t know about love and care that goes beyond false differences and always see the real worth of human life.<\/p>\n
