You know… Sometimes words just aren’t enough to describe our feelings to a loved one. To someone who means the world to you… The world and so much more… That special someone and the person with whom I share the strongest and deepest connection is mi mejor amiga.<\/a><\/p>\n

And even though words can’t portray everything she means to me, I decided to pour out my feelings in this short letter and thank her for everything she did and is still doing for me. So, here it is… An open letter to my mejor amigo<\/a>mi roca y mi compa\u00f1era para siempre.<\/p>\n

Querido mejor amigo,<\/h2>\n

\"fotoI know you\u2019d argue with me on this one, but I really think you deserve the world.<\/p>\n

It floors me that you\u2019re not even aware of what a good friend you are.<\/p>\n

Actually, you\u2019re not aware of that m\u00e1s<\/i> of the time. That\u2019s why I\u2019m writing this heartfelt open carta a mi mejor amigo<\/a>, a mi alma gemela plat\u00f3nica<\/a>, to \u201cmy person,\u201d … to you.<\/p>\n

El \u00fanico que me conoce tan profundamente, y sin embargo elige amarme con tanto orgullo.<\/p>\n

Tengo que admitir que a menudo me pregunto qu\u00e9 he hecho para merecerte.<\/p>\n

You came just at the right moment in my life, and you\u2019ve stuck around through thick and thin.<\/p>\n

I thank God every single day that our paths crossed because you\u2019re the best thing that\u2019s happened to me in a long time. Because of you, I\u2019m even more sure that someone\u2019s watching over me from above.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You light up the room the moment you enter it, and you\u2019re so oblivious to that.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s so hard to not notice it. It comes naturally to people to shift their attention to you, and you\u2019re none the wiser.<\/p>\n

Creo sinceramente que me haces mejor persona s\u00f3lo por ser mi mejor amiga<\/a> y ayud\u00e1ndome a navegar en esta cosa llamada vida.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re not one of those attention seekers. You are so down-to-earth and modest.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re not even trying, and that\u2019s what makes you even more interesting and why people are drawn to you. You deal with real life and all of its ups and downs with such grace and poise.<\/p>\n

La gente quiere estar contigo. Quieren hacerse amigos tuyos. Quieren que tu energ\u00eda se transfiera a ellos.<\/p>\n

Y t\u00fa les das eso. Les das ese toque de positividad y fuerza para seguir adelante.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re mi mejor amigo en la tierra<\/a>, but you\u2019re also a dear friend to so many more people we know.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re the type of person who makes people\u2019s hearts warm whenever they\u2019re around you.<\/p>\n

You make every person around you feel better without even needing to try hard. You\u2019re the first person to lift everyone up and ask for nothing in return.<\/p>\n

Being kind-hearted comes so naturally to you. And I\u2019m glad I get to be around you and have your kindness warm my heart as well.<\/p>\n

If I could go back in time to when I was in high school, I\u2019d choose you to be my BFF a million times over.<\/p>\n

See, you\u2019re the kind of person that only those that never had the privilege of meeting you could live without.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They end up needing your warmth and your tenderness because it\u2019s so easy to get addicted to it.<\/p>\n

En este mundo fr\u00edo, todos necesitamos m\u00e1s gente como t\u00fa, con tu energ\u00eda positiva y tu risue\u00f1a sentido del humor.<\/a><\/p>\n

People need you because you\u2019re genuinely there for them. You are everyone\u2019s shoulder to cry on.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re their helping hand in their times of need. You enrich people\u2019s lives more than anyone else I know.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re the first to fight for the people you care about, and, knowing you, I doubt you\u2019d have to think twice before jumping into a battlefield and defending those who you truly love.<\/p>\n

You’re the most precious gem and you know why? Because you’re un verdadero amigo<\/a>. And that’s so hard to find in this everchanging and hurried world. True friends have truly become a rarity these days.<\/p>\n

Lo que m\u00e1s me llama la atenci\u00f3n es tu capacidad de perdonar. <\/i><\/b>You do more than just say they are forgiven \u2013 you actually mean it.<\/p>\n

You’ve been through an awful breakup and you survived heartbreak and yet, you still managed to find the strength deep down in your heart to forgive the guy who made you go through a real hell.<\/p>\n

That’s exactly the thing about you that amazes me the most… Your ability to always be the bigger person. Even if people break your heart, even if they betray you or hurt you, you always find a way to see past it all and move on.<\/p>\n

A veces lleva m\u00e1s tiempo y a veces un poco menos, pero nunca se ve a la gente a trav\u00e9s de sus errores.<\/p>\n

Usted nunca guardes rencor<\/a> o mantener sus deslices contra ellos para la eternidad.<\/p>\n

Because you love to believe there is more to them than their mistakes. Because you don’t want to poison your own heart with hate and contempt.<\/p>\n

While we’re talking about motherhood… I’ll never forget that you were there for me when my mother died. That was definitely the hardest period of my life, and of course, you were there for me, supporting me through my grief.<\/p>\n

I’ll never forget that you were with me that first time I visited her grave and all those letters for Mother’s Day you helped me write for her, for my guardian angel in heaven.<\/p>\n

You cried with me and you tried so hard to make me smile and to soothe my pain. That’s what verdaderos amigos<\/a> do… They laugh together but they also do cry together… And they’re always there for each other, no matter what.<\/p>\n

You find hope in people where nobody would ever think of looking, and you keep fighting when any normal person would\u2019ve given up a long time ago.\"unaYou find a reason to believe in people even when they don\u2019t believe in themselves.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re always there for them even if they aren\u2019t always there for you. And you care for them even when they forget about themselves.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t remember a single person you let down because you\u2019re always there to offer people your arms to hug them, your heart to show compassion, and your presence to listen to them and show them they\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t let go of people \u2013 you always find a reason to stay and try again.<\/p>\n

You give your love without holding anything back because love, for you, isn\u2019t an option; love is your mantra, and you decide to give all of your love to others so purely and without even expecting anything in return.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how selfless you are. That\u2019s what\u2019s so amazing about you. And that\u2019s what I love the most about you \u2013 and the fact that you always wear your heart on your sleeve.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not only other people who need you. I need you, too, and more than you can wrap your mind around.<\/p>\n

You see, you\u2019re way stronger than you realize. You\u2019re a fighter, and yet you\u2019re so sensitive and kind. You\u2019re funny and you\u2019re smart. You\u2019re beautiful, and you\u2019re breathtakingly powerful.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Eres todo esto; eres el universo entero en una sola persona. Nunca he conocido a nadie tan completo como t\u00fa.<\/p>\n

Impactas a la gente de tal manera que quieren ser la mejor versi\u00f3n de s\u00ed mismos. Se esfuerzan por conseguir m\u00e1s. Alcanzan las estrellas.<\/p>\n

You influence people. You change them for the better in a way, but please don\u2019t ever let people change you. Don\u2019t let them ruin your kindness or your spark.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let them turn you into something different or make you believe you should be somebody else, because out of all the people I know, you are the one that God created almost perfectly.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re the easiest person to love on this earth and don\u2019t let anyone convince you otherwise.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t ever change. Don\u2019t give up on the person you are, and please never give up on me either.<\/p>\n

Because you are a true blessing in my life. You\u2019re my sister \u2013 perhaps not by blood, but definitely by heart.<\/a><\/p>\n

El a\u00f1o pasado fue dif\u00edcil para los dos. Lo odio porque nos hizo tomar caminos distintos en la vida y puso nuestra amistad a la terrible prueba de la distancia. Pero no hizo m\u00e1s que confirmar lo que ya sab\u00edamos: que compartimos un v\u00ednculo s\u00f3lido como una roca y que no hay obst\u00e1culo que pueda da\u00f1arlo o destruirlo.<\/b><\/p>\n

Te echo de menos<\/a> m\u00e1s y m\u00e1s a medida que pasan los d\u00edas. Tu presencia es algo que a\u00f1oro cada d\u00eda. Acostumbrarme a estar cerca de ti tan a menudo ha hecho que sea mucho m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil hacer esto de la larga distancia.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong. There is nobody on the planet I am more secure in than you.<\/p>\n

Echo de menos la forma en que tu mera presencia es capaz de hacerme ver lo bueno en todo. La forma en que me haces re\u00edr cuando solo quiero llorar.<\/p>\n

Usted es un \u00e1ngel<\/a> enviado del cielo para velar por m\u00ed.<\/p>\n

I was drowning in self-pity and my insecurities. I was wounded by other people, by toxic relationships, and I thought I wasn\u2019t enough. Being desperate and alone had become my comfort zone.<\/p>\n

Pero a tus ojos, siempre fui suficiente. Siempre me dijiste que soy exactamente lo que siempre deb\u00ed ser.<\/p>\n

Dios me hizo as\u00ed por una raz\u00f3n, y s\u00e9 que debo estar agradecido. Todos somos \u00fanicos y aprender a aceptar todos nuestros defectos forma parte de la vida de la que nadie puede escapar.\"unaCuando me iba bien en la vida, t\u00fa eras el \u00fanico que se alegraba por m\u00ed mientras todos los dem\u00e1s me envidiaban.<\/p>\n

I know that can be harder than being with somebody through bad times. People find comfort in the misery of others because they realize that they are not alone in theirs. In a way, that\u2019s human and pretty normal.<\/p>\n

But you are better than that. No matter what stage of your life you are in, you are always happy for others or you empathize with their sadness. It\u2019s a gift, I\u2019m telling you.<\/p>\n

Creo que el mundo necesita m\u00e1s gente como t\u00fa. Ser\u00eda un lugar mejor para vivir.<\/p>\n

I know you don\u2019t see yourself in the way I\u2019ve written here, but that\u2019s only because you\u2019ve never looked at yourself through my eyes.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

You do deserve the world because you\u2019re there for people who <\/i><\/b>te necesito<\/i><\/b><\/a>y haces de este mundo un lugar verdaderamente mejor.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Si a\u00fan te preguntas por qu\u00e9 estoy escribiendo esto carta abierta a mi mejor amigo<\/a>...a ti, al mejor amigo que una persona puede pedir, hay un par de razones.<\/p>\n

First, I want to tell you that I see you. And I admire everything you\u2019ve shown me till this moment. I admire your kindness, your courage, and your drive.<\/p>\n

Incluso cuando te caes, nunca te quedas abajo. Y siempre que me caigo, me levantas.<\/p>\n

Y quiero darte las gracias por elegirme y formar parte de mi vida. Estoy eternamente agradecida por tener a alguien como t\u00fa a mi lado.<\/p>\n

Quiero recordarte que mereces mucho m\u00e1s de lo que est\u00e1s recibiendo.<\/p>\n

I want to remind you that you can\u2019t just keep on giving, you have to take something back from time to time.\"laIf you exhaust yourself emotionally, if you harm your own mental health, there will be nothing to give to others or to yourself. You can\u2019t pour from an empty cup.<\/p>\n

Haga su <\/b>top <\/b>autocuidado<\/b><\/a> prioridad mimarse y quererse cada d\u00eda m\u00e1s.<\/b><\/p>\n

Oh, \u00bfpodr\u00edamos planear una peque\u00f1a escapada de fin de semana s\u00f3lo para nosotras dos o podr\u00edamos organizar una fiesta de bienestar s\u00f3lo para chicas en casa? O podemos organizar una fiesta de pijamas con pel\u00edculas chick flick tendencia de Netflix.<\/p>\n

We didn’t do it for ages and I really miss hanging out with you alone and in person. Thank God for this modern technology and social media because I don’t know how I could live without talking with you every day.<\/p>\n

Remember that you also deserve the true love, respect, kindness and everything else you\u2019re unselfishly pouring onto others.<\/p>\n

Remember that you need to do things for yourself, too. And don\u2019t forget that I am here for you just as much as you are for me.<\/p>\n

One day, you\u2019re going to be standing by my side on my d\u00eda de la boda<\/a>, haciendo que mis nervios desaparecieran y ri\u00e9ndose todo el d\u00eda conmigo, como siempre hacemos.
