Amongst the first words we\u2019re taught to speak are \u2018hello\u2019 and \u2018goodbye\u2019 and people remember to say hello when they enter your life, but they somehow forget to say goodbye on their way out.<\/p>\n

Do you know what happens when someone leaves your life without saying goodbye? Well, if you\u2019ve ever been left this way, then you\u2019ll know. <\/b><\/p>\n

When someone leaves without a goodbye, you\u2019re bound to get broken.<\/p>\n

Maybe the leaving part doesn\u2019t even hurt as much as knowing that someone doesn\u2019t want to be with you anymore and that they didn\u2019t have the decency to say what went wrong to your face.<\/p>\n

And then you\u2019re left your whole life wondering qu\u00e9 sali\u00f3 mal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cuando las personas entran por primera vez en tu vida, te saludan con un hola muy confiado.<\/p>\n

Through the whole time you spend together, they make sure you\u2019re convinced how pure their love is and that they will do anything for you.<\/p>\n

When someone walks out of your life without a word, especially if that someone was a person who promised to stay, you can\u2019t help but wonder what went wrong.<\/p>\n

Cuando alguien te deja sin despedirse como es debido, aunque sabes que no es as\u00ed, te quedas ah\u00ed esperando el cierre.<\/a><\/p>\n

Te quedas ah\u00ed con un pu\u00f1ado de preguntas que nunca tendr\u00e1n respuesta.<\/p>\n

And nothing haunts us more than the questions we have that we can\u2019t get answers to.<\/p>\n

Cuando la gente se va sin decir nada, sigue esperando que se cierre el asunto y conf\u00eda en que alg\u00fan d\u00eda le llegue la explicaci\u00f3n de por qu\u00e9 las cosas terminaron.<\/p>\n

But the worst part of it is these two questions: \u201cCan I move on?\u201d and \u201cWhat if he comes back?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCan I move on?\u201d –<\/b> You\u2019re left wondering if you\u2019re allowed to continue with your life.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t want to be the bad one in this story, you don\u2019t want to let the love go so easily and you don\u2019t want to be the one who ended it, because moving on would mean you\u2019ve made your peace with not having him and you don’t feel ready for that just yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut what if he comes back?\u201d –<\/b> The moment someone new walks into your life, you wonder if it\u2019s the right thing to engage in a new story when the old one didn\u2019t end.<\/p>\n

You feel like you\u2019re the cheater in the story because the end was never said out loud.<\/p>\n

And you miss him so much because you\u2019re esperando a alguien que sigui\u00f3 adelante<\/a> el momento en que sali\u00f3 de tu vida.<\/p>\n

To him it ended, it\u2019s you who keeps dragging behind and not giving yourself a chance to move on.<\/p>\n

You didn\u2019t get the closure you needed and you\u2019re left hanging. It\u2019s  ugly and it hurts and it\u2019s full of insecurities and you didn\u2019t deserve to be left without a goodbye, but you can\u2019t change it.<\/p>\n

You shouldn\u2019t be hitting the wall hoping the door to your closure will appear all of a sudden.<\/p>\n

If he had the courage to say hello to you, he should\u2019ve had the courage to say goodbye as well. <\/b><\/p>\n

You don\u2019t show courage by jumping off a cliff or driving a car at the maximum speed.<\/p>\n

You show courage by looking the person you promised love to straight in the eye and saying whatever it is that you have to say. You look the person in the eye and you say you\u2019re leaving.<\/p>\n

You explain why things are not working out and you make sure you\u2019re firm in your decision. You don\u2019t send mixed signals.<\/p>\n

There is no getting back together, there are no \u2018what ifs\u2019, there is no giving false hope that maybe the tables might turn in the future.<\/p>\n

Re\u00fanes el valor para irte decentemente y dar un cierre decente a la historia. Todo lo dem\u00e1s es dar el co\u00f1azo.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que.., cuando un hombre es cobarde<\/a>, when he leaves without a single word, when he can’t give you what you need, be the bigger person than him. Instead of being afraid to move on, instead of following the path that coward, the one who left without a word, trumped for you, be the one to give the final closure to the story. <\/b><\/p>\n

En lugar de tener miedo a seguir adelante, en lugar de esperar, acepta que lo vuestro se ha acabado.<\/p>\n

En lugar de huir de aceptar la verdad, s\u00e9 el valiente de esta historia y perm\u00edtete no esperar m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9 t\u00fa quien se despida por los dos y sigue adelante con tu vida.<\/p>\n

Ser\u00e1 la mejor venganza para el que se fue sin decir palabra y ser\u00e1 lo mejor que hayas hecho por ti mismo.<\/p>\n
