He’ll be even more than that. He’ll be the prince you dreamed about when you were a little girl. He’ll be that kind-hearted \u201cbad boy\u201d you had a crush on as a teenage girl.<\/span><\/p>\n

He’ll be a successful and protective man with some serious plans and goals for the future. A man who knows what he wants and how to get it. A man whose priority is to settle down and start his own family. <\/span><\/p>\n

He’ll be that man you pray for every night before you go to bed.<\/b><\/p>\n

One day, I’m sure he’ll come. The only reason he isn’t here yet is because God thinks you need some more time. Some more time for yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n

I was also focused on finding \u201cthe one\u201d my entire life and where did it get me? Nowhere. I only neglected my own needs. I was jealous of every happy couple I saw on the street.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wondered if I’d ever find someone who thinks that I’m good enough \u2013 who sees me with completely different eyes. Because God knows my self-image was terrible.<\/span><\/p>\n

I remember when I was in college, my goals for the future were to get my diploma, find a job I’d enjoy doing, and work hard to become a successful and independent woman.<\/span><\/p>\n

I wanted to surround myself with a big circle of friends and somehow repay my parents for their love and everything they\u2019d done for me over the years.<\/span><\/p>\n

That futile search for a soulmate changed my goals for the future completely. The only thing that was important to me was to find someone who’d love me and stay with me for the rest of my life.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t get me wrong. <\/span>Having a life partner is important and should be a part of everyone’s goals for the future. But it shouldn’t become your obsession.<\/b> <\/span><\/p>\n

Un d\u00eda, vi unas fotos de mis amigos en Instagram. Estaban disfrutando de sus vacaciones en las Maldivas. Entonces me enter\u00e9 de que a mi compa\u00f1era de trabajo la hab\u00edan ascendido y se hab\u00eda convertido en mi superior.<\/span><\/p>\n

That was the day I looked at myself in the mirror and said, \u201cStop right there, missy. It’s enough. You have to get your life in order and you have to do it now!\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n merec\u00eda viajar y divertirme. Tambi\u00e9n merec\u00eda progresar en mi carrera. Esa chica de primer a\u00f1o contaba conmigo y ten\u00eda que hacer que se sintiera orgullosa.  <\/span><\/p>\n

El d\u00eda que decid\u00ed cambiar mi forma de pensar fue el d\u00eda en que mi vida empez\u00f3 a mejorar en todos los sentidos posibles. Me sent\u00eda m\u00e1s tranquilo y relajado. <\/span>Por fin sent\u00ed esa sensaci\u00f3n de paz interior.<\/b><\/p>\n

Volv\u00ed a centrarme en m\u00ed mismo. Empec\u00e9 a trabajar en m\u00ed mismo. <\/span>Ten\u00eda que volver a poner en marcha mi auto-relaci\u00f3n.<\/b> El autocuidado se convirti\u00f3 en<\/span><\/a> my priority. I found my life purpose and it wasn’t finding the great guy.<\/span><\/p>\n

I worked hard to make myself better in every possible way and I did it. I am so damn proud of myself and everything I\u2019ve achieved so far.<\/span><\/p>\n

S\u00f3lo quiero decir algo al final a todas las mujeres que est\u00e1n en la b\u00fasqueda de ese gran tipo. Su gran hombre puede venir, pero tambi\u00e9n puede dejar un d\u00eda. <\/span><\/p>\n

You are the only person you know for sure you’re stuck with for the rest of your life.<\/b> Intenta hacerlo divertido, emocionante e interesante super\u00e1ndote a ti mismo.<\/span><\/p>\n
