I really tried to make it work but then I realized that relationships are made of two; two people who work on the same goals and care for each other\u2019s needs. In this case, I was the only one who cared enough.<\/p>\n

Me hiciste pensar que estaba haciendo algo mal todo el tiempo. Me hiciste sentir que me faltaba algo que m\u00e1gicamente te har\u00eda m\u00e1s feliz. Pens\u00e9 que el problema era yo.<\/b><\/p>\n

I was so hard on myself and tried to be better, to be prettier, to be more accommodating… All that for nothing because at the end of the day, you only cared about yourself.<\/p>\n

You almost never showed any effort unless you got scared that you\u2019d lose me and the only reason you were afraid of losing me was because you knew you\u2019d lose all the care and comfort I kept on giving you throughout the years we spent together. <\/p>\n

Esperaba que cambiaras, que algo surgiera por arte de magia, pero no era muy realista.<\/p>\n

They just want to find someone who will make them feel good about themselves so they don\u2019t have to put in the work, someone who will nod their head to everything they say and never challenge them because that\u2019s the easier way.<\/p>\n

Finalmente me sent\u00ed como me<\/i>. Empec\u00e9 mi vida de nuevo por m\u00ed misma y me demostr\u00e9 que soy suficiente.<\/p>\n

En ese momento, todas mis preocupaciones por empezar de nuevo mi vida desaparecieron. Sab\u00eda que estaba haciendo lo correcto y sigo haci\u00e9ndolo a d\u00eda de hoy.<\/p>\n

Estoy muy agradecida por haber tenido la fuerza de escuchar esa vocecita en mi interior que me dec\u00eda que merec\u00eda m\u00e1s y me empuj\u00f3 a hacer lo que hice.<\/p>\n
