Possiamo essere realisti per un minuto? Tutto questo parlare di uomini. Quelli buoni, quelli cattivi, quelli che definiscono il nostro stesso essere. Possiamo staccarci da tutto questo per un attimo? <\/span>Possiamo parlare di chi siamo senza uomini? Di chi diventiamo quando ci guardiamo allo specchio?<\/b> Perch\u00e9 parliamo di tutti questi uomini tossici<\/a>, and we don\u2019t know why we let them in. We don\u2019t know how we let them take so much from us. We don\u2019t know why we make the same mistakes over and over again. But I do. It\u2019s because we don\u2019t like what we see when we look in the mirror.<\/span> Il modo in cui lasciamo che le persone ci trattino \u00e8 un riflesso diretto di come ci sentiamo con noi stessi.<\/b> Regardless of how honestly we come by our shitty self-esteem, we have to overcome it. No matter how many times we\u2019ve been brow-beaten, bullied or somehow made to feel we aren\u2019t good enough, we have to believe that we are.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is so much evidence out there to derail us; TV, magazines, Photoshop, and the freaking Internet telling us that we don\u2019t live up to societal expectations. That what we look like isn\u2019t right and we need to fix this or enhance that. That we need to have a certain thing and be a certain size to be good enough. <\/span>Abbiamo pillole, pozioni e panic room per salvarci da noi stessi e dai demoni che creiamo nella nostra mente. <\/b>Tutte le prove indicano le nostre mancanze. E non potremo mai stare al passo con i Jones, per quanto ci sforziamo. <\/span><\/p>\n

We turn to alcohol, drugs, and reality TV to escape our own shitty realities\u2026 and that\u2019s how they get in.<\/span> The sociopaths and the narcissists and all of the toxic, life-draining, emotional vampires\u2026 they seep in through the cracks of our lowered self-esteem and numb us with their intoxicating presence.<\/b> They reinforce the negative opinions we\u2019ve been conditioned to have of ourselves and it is so hard to fight against your own negative self-talk.<\/span><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the solution?<\/span> Come evitare tutti gli stronzi quotidiani che ci svuotano dell'autostima per sport? Amiamo noi stessi, cazzo. Ci guardiamo allo specchio e ci sfidiamo ad AMARE assolutamente e incondizionatamente ci\u00f2 che vediamo. <\/b>Abbracciamo le nostre imperfezioni e rifiutiamo che ci facciano sentire piccoli a causa loro. Trascorriamo del tempo con noi stessi, capendo chi siamo e cosa ci piace, e facciamo queste cose. Noi rendere felici noi stessi<\/a> perch\u00e9 meritiamo di essere felici. <\/span>Ci dedichiamo a fare in modo di essere trattate come regine, perch\u00e9 lo siamo.<\/b> And when we do\u2026 anything less will be a joke. <\/span>Bisogna saper riconoscere un uomo,<\/span> \u201cIf you want to be with me, you will have to treat me as well as or better than I treat myself and I hold me to a pretty high standard,\u201d<\/b> and mean it. Because if you don\u2019t believe it, neither will they.<\/span><\/p>\n
