When anxious thoughts start hoarding, it\u2019s really difficult to take a step back and see things from another point of view.<\/p>\n<p>What I do is I imagine myself as an invisible third party that\u2019s just listening to the conversation of my anxious and regular self, and make a judgment with my rational mind based on what arguments seem more sane and likely.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re an imaginative type, try it! It\u2019s like a mental exercise. Just concentrating on trying it could make you calmer.<\/p>\n<h2>2. They like safety and things that are familiar. They love planning ahead and repeating what\u2019s proven to be good for them. This is totally understandable.<\/p>\n<p>However, we must accept the fact that life is sometimes completely unpredictable. Crazy things are happening in every moment and we can\u2019t do much about it \u2013 other than not to worry ahead and just let things be.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easier when you lose the \u201cgood and bad consequences\u201d way of thinking. Why? Well, how many times did something that appeared to be bad at the time, happen to be great just a few days, months, or years later!<\/p>\n<p>Questo modo di pensare ci permette di vedere al di l\u00e0 di ci\u00f2 che appare nel momento esatto e ci impedisce di soffermarci troppo a lungo nello stesso spazio mentale.<\/p>\n<h2>3. The serotonin rush is much needed to an anxious mind.<\/p>\n<p>Fermatevi a pensare a cosa vi fa sentire bene. \u00c8 un bagno di schiuma rilassante? Ottimo! Procuratevi anche degli oli essenziali e delle maschere per il viso e fatelo pi\u00f9 spesso.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c8 solo per sentirsi a proprio agio? Prendete la coperta, preparatevi una bevanda che vi piace e accendete il vostro film preferito. Compratevi una bella pianta. Andate a visitare un museo, un teatro o una libreria, o semplicemente prendetevi del tempo per prepararvi il vostro cibo preferito.<\/p>\n<h2>4. My mind was full of \u201cwhat ifs.\u201d I would think of every possible outcome there is.<\/p>\n<p>It took so much of my time and energy \u2013 time and energy I could\u2019ve spent doing something beneficial for me.<\/p>\n<p>The point is, you have to make a decision, stand by it, and then take action. That\u2019s the only way things are going to start happening for you.<\/p>\n<h2>5. The way we\u2019re raised, the way society has taught us to live \u2013 it all reflects on our way of thinking. And guess what?<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts are not always our own. Sometimes it\u2019s just fear that\u2019s projected onto you. Try recognizing those thought patterns and let them go.<\/p>\n<h2>6. Vi ricordate cosa vi piaceva fare da bambini? Dipingere, cantare, ballare, leggere?<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll be surprised at how relaxing it can be. Hobbies tend to make you focus on just one thing and help to clear your mind.
