Deciding to spend your life with someone is a serious decision. That’s why you need to find la tua persona<\/a>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, I wasn’t that person for you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trovare quella persona non \u00e8 un compito facile e vi auguro la migliore fortuna in questa impresa.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, it won’t be that hard, but let’s say you needed to get through a few trial versions to get to the thing you really need.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the same for me.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, no matter how hard I tried to convince myself that you\u2019re the right person for me \u2013 deep down in my heart, I knew it wasn\u2019t you. Unfortunate, but true.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I should’ve seen it earlier. I should’ve seen it in the little things. Little things you said and done.<\/p>\n

All the things I begged you to do that you always ignored, and all the things I\u2019d done for you that you simply took for granted \u2013 I got tired of it.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it felt like you didn\u2019t know me at all. How the hell could you put me through all you did if you really did know me?<\/p>\n

I choose to believe you didn\u2019t want to hurt me intentionally, even though I\u2019m not always sure.<\/p>\n

Sometimes I just wanted you to hold me and tell me that everything was going to be okay \u2013 and you just couldn\u2019t recognize my need.<\/p>\n

I got tired of pretending I’m somebody I’m not \u2013 and you finally realized I’m not what you needed me to be.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You couldn’t see me for who I really am.<\/p>\n

You had an idea of me that didn\u2019t match reality.<\/p>\n

It crushed me to know that, but now I’m happy.<\/p>\n

I’m happy because, for the first time in my life, I\u2019ve decided to be senza vergognarmi di me stesso<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve decided to not make accommodations for other people to handle me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For once, I\u2019ve made a decision to look into my own eyes and say: You can do better than this.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If that’s not enough for you or you can’t comprehend it, then just let go.<\/p>\n

Be straightforward, be decisive. Don’t leave me hanging.<\/p>\n

I wanted you to show me I’m good enough as I am \u2013 and you failed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t want to blame you for that. The only thing I want is for you to take responsibility for the things you\u2019ve done wrong.<\/p>\n

Be a man and admit your wrongs. It\u2019s not the end of the world. In fact, it could be the beginning of the new one.<\/p>\n

The one where we\u2019re the ones with a clear vision of ourselves and don\u2019t blame each other for the things they\u2019ve done.<\/p>\n

I want to move on with my life knowing all of this wasn\u2019t in vain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voglio che questa sia una lezione imparata e non tempo perso.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why I\u2019m writing you this letter.<\/p>\n

Ti auguro di diventare un uomo migliore. Auguro a me stesso di essere una persona pi\u00f9 forte.<\/p>\n

Someday, we\u2019ll look back at this and feel grateful for all the things we learned from each other.<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t feel bitter or betrayed, we\u2019ll just be at peace knowing it was all a part of a greater plan.<\/p>\n

In the end, I already feel grateful to you even though I don\u2019t understand it yet completely.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, I\u2019m willing to understand.<\/p>\n

Everything that happens to me is just a wake-up call on the journey to my self-discovery, even though it was, at one point in my life \u2013 through you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For that, I\u2019m thankful.<\/strong><\/p>\n
