Como deixar de se preocupar com algu\u00e9m que faz o seu cora\u00e7\u00e3o saltar uma batida? De algu\u00e9m que faz o teu dia inteiro s\u00f3 por estar presente? Ser\u00e1 que \u00e9 humanamente poss\u00edvel fazer isso? <\/i><\/p>\n

Fiz a mim pr\u00f3prio as mesmas perguntas vezes sem conta at\u00e9 descobrir o que era.<\/p>\n

Like most of us, the only way to figure things out is to experience them on your own skin\u2014to fail miserably so you could go back up. Sometimes there is no other way to move forward than to experience pain.<\/p>\n

Dessa forma, pode aprender com ela. Pode dar uma reviravolta nessa dor para que tenha um resultado positivo.<\/p>\n

O momento da epifania para mim foi aquela pequena fra\u00e7\u00e3o de segundo em que me apercebi que a vida \u00e9 demasiado curta para quase rela\u00e7\u00f5es, promessas de meia-tigela e homens de meia-tigela. <\/b><\/p>\n

The moment when I finally came to my senses and realized I deserve more\u2014I deserve better than this. I deserve someone who cares about me the same way I care about him and nothing less. <\/b><\/p>\n

That moment didn\u2019t come easily. It took its time. It took draining me of emotions to the point all I felt was complete numbness.<\/p>\n

A minha cabe\u00e7a estava cheia de promessas n\u00e3o cumpridas, mentiras e jogos que ele fazia comigo s\u00f3 porque sabia que podia. Deixei-o aproximar-se demasiado sem receber nada em troca.<\/p>\n

I thought time will do its thing\u2014he will grow, he will change, he will make me his priority, he will step up his game and be the man I always considered him to be under that boyish fa\u00e7ade he was carrying around. I thought wrong.<\/p>\n

Esperar que o tempo resolvesse a minha rela\u00e7\u00e3o com ele s\u00f3 piorou as coisas. Na verdade, ele era apenas um rapazinho que estava a testar os meus limites.<\/p>\n

Quando finalmente me parti, I learned how to stop caring about somebody who doesn\u2019t care<\/a> sobre mim. <\/b> That’s why I want to share the things I\u2019ve learned with you.  <\/p>\n

But trust me\u2014after the initial blow of sadness and loneliness, things start to look up. You find a way to rebuild yourself and demand the things that you deserve.<\/p>\n

If he is manipulating you, playing games, lying and avoiding commitment of any kind, he is surely not the \u2019Prince Charming\u2019 you made him out to be.<\/p>\n

Quando se tem uma ideia real de quem ele \u00e9 e do que lhe est\u00e1 a fazer, os seus encantos come\u00e7am a desaparecer. Ele j\u00e1 n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o espantoso como o fez parecer e come\u00e7a a importar-se cada vez menos com ele.<\/p>\n

D\u00ea prioridade \u00e0 sua felicidade<\/h2>\n

Se ele faz sempre as mesmas coisas e voc\u00ea continua a dar-lhe um n\u00famero infinito de oportunidades, nada vai mudar. Ele vai continuar a fazer o mesmo, porque vai contar com o seu perd\u00e3o de todas as vezes.<\/p>\n

He will look at you as his safety net\u2014someone he can rely on to always be there.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t want to be a simple safety net to somebody you care so much about. Especially when he is something so inconstant in your life.<\/p>\n

He is not concerned with your happiness; he is concerned with his own. That\u2019s the lesson you have to take from him\u2014dar prioridade \u00e0 sua pr\u00f3pria felicidade. <\/a><\/p>\n

Put yourself first. Make yourself happy and make your own dreams come true. Don\u2019t depend on anybody else to do it for you.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t look for him to provide you with the happiness he never will. It\u2019s in your hands.<\/p>\n

If your heart and brain aren\u2019t in sync, you are in a bad relationship. The heart feels what it feels there is no questioning that, but the heart can be deceitful, too, which is why there are so many bad relationships out there.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we often settle for less than we deserve.<\/p>\n

So, when you finally decide it\u2019s time to stop caring about him, make sure to listen to your brain when he starts texting and calling. Don\u2019t buy into his lame excuses\u2014you\u2019ve heard it all before.<\/p>\n

Deixem-no falar e reparem como tudo se torna aborrecido. Nunca ouvir\u00e1 nada de novo, apenas as mesmas desculpas idiotas de sempre. Tu \u00e9s melhor do que isso.<\/p>\n

Demand that the love, respect and validation you give to someone be given back. The mistake I made is that I wasn\u2019t clear with myself about my own standards.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t value myself enough. Out of fear of losing him, I let him make a puppet out of me. I should\u2019ve never done that\u2014I am nobody\u2019s toy.<\/p>\n

Tive de ter uma longa e significativa conversa comigo pr\u00f3prio e estabelecer quais deveriam ter sido os padr\u00f5es. Decidi que nunca deixarei que ningu\u00e9m me tome por garantido.<\/p>\n

Ajudou-me no futuro e fez-me ver todas as coisas que estava a deixar passar em branco.<\/p>\n

O estabelecimento de padr\u00f5es d\u00e1 aos homens um conjunto claro de limites que n\u00e3o devem ser ultrapassados.<\/p>\n

No, you don\u2019t have to act bitchy and make somebody feel like you are their boss, but you have to make sure that both of you know which things can\u2019t and never will be tolerated.<\/p>\n

Ao deix\u00e1-lo, ganhar\u00e1 muito mais<\/h2>\n

There is that thing called harmony\u2014that state of inner peace that is priceless. That\u2019s the first thing you will gain when you say your final good,bye to him.<\/p>\n

Ao despedir-se dele, est\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m a dizer adeus a toda a dor que ele lhe est\u00e1 a causar, a todo o stress, a todas as noites sem dormir \u00e0 espera de uma mensagem de resposta e a todo o tipo de manipula\u00e7\u00e3o e mau comportamento que ele lhe fez passar.<\/p>\n

Ao dizer adeus a ele, est\u00e1 a dizer ol\u00e1 a si pr\u00f3prio. <\/a><\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to stop caring about those who clearly don’t care about you.<\/b><\/p>\n
