Being cheated on is one of the worst feelings there is. It is not just about the fact that your heart\u2019s been broken\u2014it also has a lot to do with the feelings of humiliation and betrayal.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve ever been cheated on, you know exactly what I am talking about. You feel an enormous amount of emotional pain because this man has consciously chosen some other woman over you. <\/span><\/p>\n

You know that he willingly chose to betray you and that means he actually never cared about your feelings. He didn\u2019t care if he hurt you and how his actions would make you feel because if he did, he wouldn\u2019t do the things he did to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Est\u00e1 sempre a perguntar-se <\/span>why you weren\u2019t enough<\/span><\/a> para ele. Porque \u00e9 que ele teve de procurar outras mulheres, para al\u00e9m de si? Havia alguma coisa que pudesse ter feito para evitar que ele a tra\u00edsse?<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, you blame yourself for everything. You feel guilty for not noticing the signs earlier; you can\u2019t believe how blind you were not to see something that was happening right in front of you. <\/span><\/p>\n

This was the man you could trust your life with, your life companion whom you should\u2019ve known the best. But, yet, you didn\u2019t notice anything. <\/span><\/p>\n

You hate him for ruining everything you\u2019ve built for so long, you hate him for not being a man enough to tell you how things really are and most of all, you hate him for making you feel this way. <\/span><\/p>\n

Odeia-o por viver a vida dele como se nada tivesse acontecido, enquanto ele a deixou sozinha a lidar com este desespero.<\/span><\/p>\n

And you don\u2019t want to hate him. You don\u2019t want to love him either. You just want to become indifferent towards him. You want to stop thinking of him.<\/b><\/p>\n

But, you can\u2019t seem to make that happen. You\u2019ve become <\/span>cronicamente infeliz<\/span><\/a>. You\u2019ve started looking at life negatively. You\u2019ve become bitter and pessimistic. <\/span><\/p>\n

You feel like you can\u2019t trust anyone because the man you trusted the most has betrayed you. What is there to expect from someone you have just met?<\/span><\/p>\n

I am here to tell you that you are not alone. Millions of women around the world have been through the same things you are going through right now. And they\u2019ve all survived. And so will you.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am here to tell you that you didn\u2019t do anything wrong. You shouldn\u2019t blame yourself for everything that has happened because none of it was your fault. Cheating is obviously in this guy\u2019s blood. <\/span><\/p>\n

You probably asked yourself if you could\u2019ve been a better girlfriend but trust me\u2014nothing you did would have made a difference. Even if there was something about you that was bothering this guy, he should have been man enough to tell you that in person.<\/span><\/p>\n

If he thought he couldn\u2019t handle you or if he fell out of love with you, he should have been direct about it and leave you. Yes, that would also have been painful, but it would have certainly hurt less than knowing you\u2019ve been cheated on.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mas, sobretudo, estou aqui para vos dizer que as coisas melhoram, although you don\u2019t believe me now.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There will come a day when all of this pain will go away. I don\u2019t know when it will be, but it will happen before you know it.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will come a day when you\u2019ll understand that this man cheating on you was something that had to happen. <\/b><\/p>\n

He was a tough lesson for you, but he was a lesson worth learning. Trust me\u2014you\u2019ll be grateful because you had to chance to see this man\u2019s true colors in time.<\/span><\/p>\n

And there will come a time when you\u2019ll believe in love once again. There will come a moment when you\u2019ll realize that not all men are the same. <\/span><\/p>\n

And that man will come. He will make sure you know that he\u2019d never cheat on you because he will respect you more than that. This man will show you that you are always more than enough and he will make you feel like you are the only woman in the world. <\/span><\/p>\n
