\u00c9 como uma lei n\u00e3o escrita que diz que se formos atr\u00e1s de algo, se continuarmos a persegui-lo, ele fica cada vez mais longe.<\/p>\n

O mesmo acontece com o amor. Quanto mais se pensa nele, quanto mais se faz para o alcan\u00e7ar, mais depressa ele nos escapa por entre os dedos.<\/p>\n

Lembro-me de acordar a meio da noite com falta de ar, aterrorizada com a possibilidade de nunca encontrar a pessoa certa.<\/p>\n

Que vou acabar por ficar sozinho. Que o tempo se vai esvair. Que serei demasiado velho. Que n\u00e3o terei mais ningu\u00e9m para quem me virar.<\/p>\n

Those dreams and those thoughts haunted me so much that I became desperate in my mission of finding \u201cthe one\u201d. I moved too fast.<\/p>\n

I expected too much too soon. I lived in delusion instead of living in reality. That\u2019s why I would always end up with someone utterly wrong for me.<\/p>\n

Era altura de voltar a encontrar essa pessoa. De me reinventar. De fazer as coisas que sempre quis mas que nunca tinha tido tempo.<\/p>\n

Consegui realmente reencontrar-me. Estava igual e t\u00e3o diferente ao mesmo tempo. Desta vez, o meu passado n\u00e3o era mais do que o meu professor.<\/p>\n

I learned who I am, my likes and dislikes, needs, wants, ambitions and aspirations\u2014most importantly what I am willing to put up with and what I will not tolerate under any circumstances.<\/p>\n

I decided to stop allowing my desire for love to cloud my judgments. I stopped inviting toxic men into my life by not allowing them to treat me poorly\u2014by not being the one they could easily mess around and manipulate.<\/p>\n

Eventually, I got what I wanted. Without chasing for love, I let it come to me. And it took its precious time. It didn\u2019t come when I expected it.<\/p>\n

It came unannounced and in the most awkward moment. I wasn\u2019t looking for love anymore. I did my own thing and just let things happen.<\/p>\n

Now I know why it hadn\u2019t worked out with anyone before. The things I feel for him now are beyond anything I ever felt for anybody.<\/p>\n

Quando a pessoa certa aparecer, reconhec\u00ea-la-\u00e3o pela forma como responde ao vosso amor. N\u00e3o haver\u00e1 necessidade de ningu\u00e9m andar atr\u00e1s de ningu\u00e9m.<\/p>\n

O amor fluir\u00e1. Os sentimentos ser\u00e3o m\u00fatuos. Os investimentos ser\u00e3o rec\u00edprocos. E n\u00e3o haver\u00e1 necessidade de pedir nada.<\/p>\n

O vosso amor parecer\u00e1 um sonho, mas ao mesmo tempo ser\u00e1 real. Ser\u00e1 algo em que ambos ter\u00e3o de trabalhar.<\/p>\n

Encontrar\u00e3o alguns problemas pelo caminho, mas nunca permitir\u00e3o que eles sejam maiores ou mais fortes do que a liga\u00e7\u00e3o que partilham.<\/p>\n

Ser\u00e1 assim porque ambos o querem. S\u00e3o precisas duas pessoas que sejam verdadeiramente, loucamente, profundamente <\/a>um para o outro para que uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o funcione. Tudo o resto s\u00e3o contos de fadas.<\/p>\n

Take it from someone who knows\u2014everything will work itself out and it will be better than you could ever imagine. Stop the chase and put your fears aside. Breathe. Work on yourself for yourself.<\/p>\n

V\u00ea do que \u00e9s feito. Realiza os teus sonhos. O amor encontrar-te-\u00e1 quando estiveres demasiado ocupado contigo mesmo. O amor vai encontrar-te quando chegar a altura certa e nem um minuto mais cedo.<\/p>\n
