Quando se trata de <\/i>amizade verdadeira<\/i><\/a>, it’s all about finding the yin to your yang. <\/i>It’s about finding that one person who’ll be able to understand you without words… Connecting deeply with someone who is both your protector and your confidant.<\/p>\n

Today, as I’m writing this letter, I can proudly say that I managed to find it all in one person \u2013 in you. And I’m incredibly happy because of it.<\/p>\n

I’m forever thankful to God for crossing our paths, and I’m beyond forever thankful to you for showing me the real meaning of the word <\/b>BFF<\/b>.<\/b> E, claro, por me aturarem a mim e \u00e0 minha vida louca durante todos estes anos.<\/p>\n

Posso dizer honestamente que te considero como minha irm\u00e3, minha irm\u00e3zinha. Bem, de facto, n\u00e3o somos irm\u00e3s de sangue, mas sim irm\u00e3s de cora\u00e7\u00e3o. E, francamente, \u00e0s vezes, esse tipo de liga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 ainda mais forte e mais importante.<\/p>\n

Por vezes, penso sinceramente que Deus nos fez <\/b>melhores amigos<\/b> because He knew our moms couldn\u2019t handle us as sisters!<\/b><\/p>\n

H\u00e1 um velho ditado: \u2018A man who has 4 friends is an idiot, a man with 3 friends is crazy, a man with 2 friends is normal but the man with 1 friend is damn lucky!\u2019<\/i><\/p>\n

Devem estar a perguntar-se porque \u00e9 que citei este ditado.<\/p>\n

Well, I think that we can\u2019t have more than one true friend. Yes, you can have people you always can rely on but out of all of them, there will be only one special person. There will be only one verdadeira BFF<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And out of all the people in my life, out of all those people I consider my true friends, you’re that most special person to me.<\/i><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what kind of magic happens when two people click. It is an enigma, and frankly speaking, I am not trying to figure it out.<\/p>\n

Apenas me divirto com a minha amizade com o melhor amigo<\/a> neste mundo. You came into my life without an invitation, and I’m still thanking God every single day for your unannounced arrival.<\/i><\/p>\n

I suppose that destiny had a hand in it. Fate decided to connect us, and I hope in her plans, we’ll stay connected forever.<\/b><\/p>\n

Viste l\u00e1grimas nos meus olhos e abra\u00e7aste-me. Para ser sincero, naquele momento, eu precisava mais daquele abra\u00e7o do que do ar que estava a respirar. Ainda me lembro das palavras exactas que me disseste na altura, ‘Chin up, fight the world around you and remember that big girls don\u2019t cry.’<\/i><\/p>\n

I mean, really, that’s a freaking heroic act to me.<\/p>\n

You had the heart charm bracelet bangle on your arm, and you took it off and gave it to me. I still have it, and it’s one of my favorite friendship gifts ever.<\/p>\n

I consider it our friendship bracelet because that is where it all started. That ‘melhores amigos<\/a> bracelet’ marked the beginning of our true and forever-lasting friendship.<\/p>\n

And\u00e1mos juntos no liceu e at\u00e9 \u00e0 universidade. Fizemos tantas coisas durante esses anos. Coisas boas e coisas m\u00e1s. Tantas aventuras loucas. Aposto que risc\u00e1mos tudo no nosso lista de desejos<\/a>, but no biggie, we’ll make a new one.<\/p>\n

So many things have changed. You changed, and I did too. But, one thing stayed constant… And that’s this incredibly strong bond between us.<\/i> Independentemente do que se passava connosco e \u00e0 nossa volta, a nossa amizade nunca foi abalada.<\/p>\n
