Por vezes, habituamo-nos tanto a que as coisas sejam p\u00e9ssimas, m\u00e1s e dolorosas que tudo se torna normal.<\/p>\n
Mantemo-nos numa m\u00e1 rela\u00e7\u00e3o, toleramos comportamentos intoler\u00e1veis, porque continuamos a pensar que as coisas v\u00e3o melhorar.<\/p>\n
Quando damos por isso, os dias, os meses e at\u00e9 os anos passam t\u00e3o depressa e nada muda. As coisas est\u00e3o ainda piores. No entanto, ficamos e lutamos.<\/p>\n
Mesmo que isso signifique lutar por n\u00f3s pr\u00f3prios. Mesmo que isso signifique amar, dar, investir por dois. Continuamos a faz\u00ea-lo at\u00e9 nos destruirmos completamente.<\/p>\n
We maybe didn\u2019t know how to walk away but fortunately they did. They left us while there was still time. While we could still find ourself.<\/p>\n

Tivemos a oportunidade de recriar a nossa vida. Porque a \u00fanica coisa que eles fizeram foi prender-nos. O seu comportamento indeciso, as suas idas e vindas e as migalhas de afeto deixaram-nos a desejar tudo o que nunca tivemos. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
Est\u00e1vamos sempre a desejar mais. Mais do amor, mais da vida e, acima de tudo, mais de n\u00f3s pr\u00f3prios.<\/p>\n
Chegou o momento de nos fazermos felizes.<\/p>\n
\u00c9ramos carentes de amor. Est\u00e1vamos sempre sozinhos, mesmo quando eles estavam l\u00e1. Quer\u00edamos mais aten\u00e7\u00e3o, mais calor, ombros fortes e um ouvido atento.<\/p>\n
We never asked for too much but the problem was that we kept expecting it from the wrong person. From a person who didn\u2019t know the true meaning of commitment.<\/p>\n
They didn’t know how to give back everything that they were receiving. Their selfish nature made them take and take and take until there was nothing left.<\/p>\n
You see, we didn\u2019t lose anything because of their absence\u2014we actually gained from it.<\/b><\/p>\n

Our life is more peaceful now. We don\u2019t have to live in that emotional roller coaster anymore.<\/p>\n
Our feelings don\u2019t have to fluctuate up and down and depend on the behavior of someone who takes them for granted.<\/p>\n
We don’t have to listen to lies and question if there is any truth to them. We don\u2019t have to put up with mind games and emotional neglect.<\/p>\n
We don\u2019t look at our phone, waiting for that reply that should have come hours ago. We don\u2019t have to ask anybody to find a moment or two to spend with us. We don\u2019t have to wait anymore.<\/p>\n
Esper\u00e1mos que as coisas melhorassem, que ele mudasse, que nos tratasse como merec\u00edamos, que estiv\u00e9ssemos prontos para isto e aquilo e tudo se resumiu a esperar. Viver para o que poderia ser em vez de viver para o agora.<\/p>\n
Est\u00e1vamos enjaulados por toda aquela espera e agora somos livres. Livres, finalmente, para viver a nossa vida como queremos.<\/p>\n

As coisas est\u00e3o a melhorar neste preciso momento porque n\u00f3s assim o escolhemos. Desta vez, escolhemos amar-nos primeiro a n\u00f3s pr\u00f3prios.<\/p>\n
Opt\u00e1mos por ver tudo o que de positivo resultou de toda esta confus\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
Opt\u00e1mos por encarar o fim dessa rela\u00e7\u00e3o de merda como a melhor coisa que nos podia ter acontecido.<\/p>\n
