Estas pessoas s\u00e3o velhas de cora\u00e7\u00e3o, velhas de esp\u00edrito e velhas de alma. Vivem uma vida de solid\u00e3o, muitas vezes incompreendidas em tudo o que fazem, porque s\u00e3o mais velhas do que parecem.<\/p>\n

It is as if they\u2019ve lived much longer than they already have. Almas velhas<\/a> seguem os seus pr\u00f3prios caminhos enquanto o resto do povo segue cegamente as massas.<\/p>\n

Imagina ver centenas de pessoas a ir num sentido e apenas um homem a ir no outro. Tentarias avis\u00e1-lo para vir para o teu lado.<\/p>\n

You would try to talk him into joining you because who knows what awaits him\/her at the end of the road. Even you don\u2019t know what awaits you and the crowd at the end, but you feel safe walking along all those people in the same direction.<\/p>\n

Old souls don\u2019t care where all the others are going. They have their own way of seeing and comprehending things and that\u2019s why they struggle to fit into the world they live in.<\/p>\n

They are misunderstood because they don\u2019t act like everybody else. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

1. Old souls\u2019 families don\u2019t understand them<\/h2>\n

They are born into families who don\u2019t get them. Their families think they are a disgrace\u2014black sheep. Old souls can only understand each other. That\u2019s why they are strangers anywhere they go, even in their own homes.<\/p>\n

Isto pode ser muito complicado porque passar os anos de forma\u00e7\u00e3o sem o apoio da fam\u00edlia pode estragar muito as suas vidas.<\/p>\n

2. S\u00e3o muito lentos<\/h2>\n

N\u00e3o s\u00e3o pregui\u00e7osos e muito menos pouco inteligentes. Simplesmente sabem que t\u00eam todo o tempo do mundo. N\u00e3o h\u00e1 confus\u00e3o ou qualquer tipo de confus\u00e3o nas suas vidas. Fazem uma coisa de cada vez, sem stress nem pressa.<\/p>\n

They want to be sure they\u2019ve lived every new experience to the fullest and in detail. They are acquiring new information and knowledge and storing it for the future.<\/p>\n

3. S\u00e3o muito emp\u00e1ticos<\/h2>\n

They are reliving other people\u2019s pain. They won\u2019t be at peace if they know someone around them is suffering. It\u2019s no wonder they don\u2019t fit in this mundo cruel, sem cora\u00e7\u00e3o e ego\u00edsta. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

They are healers and they will go an extra mile just to help someone in need. That is what makes their life\u2019s purpose fulfilled.<\/p>\n

4. Eles s\u00e3o muito curiosos<\/h2>\n

Each new person they meet, they will bomb with questions whose answers they will safely store in their minds\u2014new information, new experiences. They will never have enough of this.<\/p>\n

Se alguma vez conheceres uma alma velha<\/a>, you will find yourself talking about yourself, not knowing anything about the old soul hiding behind the person you\u2019re talking to.<\/p>\n

5. They can\u2019t separate sex from emotions<\/h2>\n

They simply don\u2019t care for just physical attraction. To them, emotions and raw attraction come in a package\u2014together. They aren\u2019t able to be just sexually attracted to someone if there\u2019s no deep connection underneath.<\/p>\n

They can have sex, but they won\u2019t enjoy it and they will avoid it until they find someone who they think is worthy of their love and attention.<\/p>\n

6. S\u00e3o indecisos<\/h2>\n

You may think they are slow or stupid, but you couldn\u2019t be more wrong. You may think they don\u2019t care about something you told them or asked them. You may think they aren\u2019t listening to you\u2014 errado! <\/i><\/p>\n

They are very much aware of your presence and your words. God knows what goes around in their heads. They are thinking about a million other choices and a million other outcomes and that\u2019s why it\u2019s taking them so long to respond to you\u2014to act.<\/p>\n

7. Demora algum tempo a apaixonarem-se<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s not easy to find love se \u00e9 uma alma velha<\/a>. I mean, it\u2019s not easy for anybody, let alone for loners who are outcasts to the world.<\/p>\n

They are attracted to the people who need their help. But to find the person to spend the rest of their lives with is a bit more complicated. It\u2019s not if that person is also an old soul\u2014but, what are the chances?<\/p>\n

If you ever meet an old soul, don\u2019t judge him\/her. <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t mean they are less worthy if they don\u2019t fit in.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
