By doing that, we are actually making it easier for ourself after realizing that we simply weren\u2019t enough for a certain guy to decide to change.<\/p>\n
We usually make these assumptions and stick by them after having been through a relationship where a guy wasn\u2019t willing to change his (questionable) ways to make us happy.<\/p>\n
Not only is this wrong but it is insulting, both to us and even more to the men out there who actually give a damn and do not fall into your \u2018jerk\u2019 category by default.<\/p>\n

Just because a guy in a movie hires a plane that spells out I love you in the sky for his beloved leading lady, does not make your boyfriend\u2019s bouquet any less delightful!<\/p>\n
\u00c9 irrealista esperar que a pessoa amada siga esses gestos grandiosos, especialmente devido ao facto de ningu\u00e9m poder pagar essas coisas na vida real.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s give them a break and appreciate what they do for us. Surely they are more romantic than we give them credit for.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s learn to appreciate the small gestures that show us they love us. Life isn\u2019t a movie and we aren\u2019t katherine heigl. Everyone\u2019s idea of romance is different!<\/p>\n

Sure, there are guys who might not be okay with us ladies being more successful than them, mostly because it hurts their ego if we are financially more independent, and therefore able to afford certain things that they can\u2019t.<\/p>\n
Mas, felizmente, tamb\u00e9m h\u00e1 muitos homens por a\u00ed que sabem que vivemos no s\u00e9culo XXI e que as mulheres s\u00e3o mais do que merecedoras de sal\u00e1rios iguais e que n\u00e3o acham intimidante estar perto de n\u00f3s.<\/p>\n
Just because you ran into a guy who had a problem with it, does not make it a rule. It\u2019s more of an exception these days and rightfully so.<\/p>\n

Aim higher, there are plenty more fish in the sea. You\u2019ll meet a guy who can handle you, just as amazing as you are, and will proudly parade you around every chance he gets. Not everyone is your ex.<\/p>\n

Sure, it can be annoying that he can get so emotional about something as irrelevant as a football match but when it comes to us, we\u2019re lucky if we hear him say I love you once in a blue moon.<\/p>\n
But here\u2019s the thing.<\/p>\n
Guys aren\u2019t like us. Just because he doesn\u2019t profess his love vocally every chance he gets, does not mean he doesn\u2019t love you.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s in the way he acts. Pay attention to his actions. If he makes you tea when you\u2019re feeling under the weather and sits with you under a blanket with his arm around you, you\u2019ve got yourself a keeper.<\/p>\n
What more can you ask for? He doesn\u2019t feel the need to constantly tell you this because he shows it when it counts.<\/p>\n

S\u00f3 porque um tipo fez batota, n\u00e3o significa que isso se aplique a todos os homens.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s stop making assumptions about men when it suits us best and start realizing that, yeah, shit happens, but it doesn\u2019t mean it will keep happening with everyone we encounter.<\/p>\n
Cheating has nothing to do with gender and everything to do with being an insecure, selfish being who doesn\u2019t appreciate what they have.<\/p>\n
