When things are going great, and there\u2019s not much to complain about, it\u2019s so easy to feel positive, full of hope and thankful to God for all of His blessings.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mas quando os tempos de desola\u00e7\u00e3o batem \u00e0 nossa porta e as coisas come\u00e7am lentamente a correr mal, perder a nossa f\u00e9 em Deus torna-se ainda mais f\u00e1cil.<\/span><\/p>\n

H\u00e1 uns tempos atr\u00e1s, estava a passar por um per\u00edodo bastante dif\u00edcil na minha vida. <\/span><\/p>\n

Era uma coisa m\u00e1 atr\u00e1s da outra e parecia mesmo que Deus tinha decidido acabar comigo e atirar-me para o lado, como se isso fosse de alguma forma o que eu merecia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Life really threw me a curveball and I just couldn\u2019t deal.<\/span><\/p>\n

O meu<\/span> vida amorosa<\/span><\/a> was falling apart. My BF at the time decided to leave me after two years together, with no real explanation other than that it \u2018<\/span>wasn\u2019t me\u2019 <\/span><\/i>and he just needed to \u2018<\/span>find himself\u2019<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sim, na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span>\u2014<\/span>find himself far away from me\u2026 And as if reeling from that soul-shattering break-up wasn\u2019t enough, I lost my job almost at the same time and I could barely afford rent.<\/span><\/p>\n

I had just moved to the city a few months prior so I wasn\u2019t really friends with many people, as I was literally just trying to get going and find my niche, so making friends was still on the back-burner.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Estava sem emprego, tinha acabado um namoro e n\u00e3o tinha um \u00fanico amigo pr\u00f3ximo com quem pudesse desabafar. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Mal conseguia pagar as contas e chorava at\u00e9 adormecer \u00e0 noite e procurava emprego (e amigos) durante o dia. Era duro.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got to say, that was a pretty shitty situation to be in. And it really tested my faith in God.<\/span><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t necessarily question His existence, I just believed that He had given up on me. I could no longer feel His presence and I was so doubtful that I ever would again.<\/span><\/p>\n

I mean, how was I supposed to feel differently? I had literally nothing good going for me and I wasn\u2019t in the best place emotionally, to say the least.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mas depressa me apercebi.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tinha estado t\u00e3o cheio de f\u00e9 apenas algumas semanas antes de toda a merda come\u00e7ar a acontecer e, de repente, quando a vida se tornou demasiado real, deixei de acreditar? Fiquei t\u00e3o desiludida comigo pr\u00f3pria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eu estava a tomar tudo <\/span>para ser concedido<\/span><\/a>. All the blessings God provided me with in life suddenly didn\u2019t matter because I was going through a challenging time?<\/span><\/p>\n

Eu sabia que era melhor do que isso e podia ver o erro dos meus actos.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everybody goes through their darkest hour. Everybody has a curveball thrown at them at one point or another\u2026 but is that a reason to lose your faith?<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

No, that is when your faith in God is supposed to be stronger than ever. That is when God is testing you and you can\u2019t let your doubts get the better of you.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Just because He is quiet doesn\u2019t mean he doesn\u2019t see <\/span>a vossa dor<\/span><\/a>. Just because you cannot feel His presence as powerfully as you did before, doesn\u2019t mean He\u2019s not looking out for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

No, things aren\u2019t great right now but who\u2019s to say it won\u2019t get better? If you don\u2019t experience bad things, you\u2019ll never be able to fully appreciate the good ones!<\/span><\/p>\n

And that\u2019s why when God is quiet, you need to learn to read between the lines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t give up. Not on yourself, and especially not on God. He is always there, He is just testing you with these temporary challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Believe that better things are coming because you know what they say\u2026 After the rain, there\u2019s always a rainbow. And trust me, you\u2019ll be able to see yours sooner than you believe.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to truly be able to feel His existence and strengthen your hope, first you need to be able to show Him your faith when He\u2019s silent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deus deseja apenas o melhor para todos n\u00f3s, incluindo para si. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ele quer afastar-te das tuas trevas, mas primeiro tens de Lhe mostrar que a tua f\u00e9 est\u00e1 intacta e que n\u00e3o O tomas por garantido.<\/span><\/p>\n

When your faith in Him is as strong during the difficult times as it is when you\u2019re at your happiest, that\u2019s when you\u2019ll realize He never really left.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Don\u2019t let His silence weaken your spirit or diminish your faith.<\/span><\/p>\n

A chuva ocasional que se enfrenta ao longo do caminho \u00e9 uma parte inevit\u00e1vel da vida que o ajudar\u00e1 a apreciar muito mais o seu arco-\u00edris, quando finalmente o alcan\u00e7ar.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
