Tenho quase a certeza de que conhece a famosa frase: \"N\u00e3o h\u00e1 nada de errado consigo, sou eu\".<\/p>\n

Na verdade, isto aconteceu-me a mim e tamb\u00e9m a algumas amigas minhas, em que cada uma andou com um rapaz durante algumas semanas e tudo parecia perfeito.<\/p>\n

Estavam cem por cento seguros de que iriam estabelecer uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o saud\u00e1vel, rela\u00e7\u00e3o de compromisso<\/span><\/a> (tal como eu).<\/p>\n

And then, all of a sudden, the guy told them that he didn\u2019t want anything serious. To be more specific, the guy told them that he was NOT INTERESTED in anything serious.<\/p>\n

Lord knows when someone tells me this, I instantly withdraw and respect their opinion because I\u2019m definitely not desperate and neither are my friends. But what happened next is what actually caught my attention.<\/p>\n

Pouco tempo depois de terem dito que n\u00e3o estavam interessados em nada s\u00e9rio, cada um deles estava numa rela\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e9ria e comprometida. Oh, a ironia!<\/p>\n

No in\u00edcio, o meu \u00fanico desejo era apagar toda a esp\u00e9cie masculina do planeta, mas depois cheguei a uma solu\u00e7\u00e3o mais racional.<\/p>\n

Since there\u2019s no point in holding grudges forever, my friends and I decided to look at things from a different perspective.<\/p>\n

We tried to understand and explain this phenomenon of the guy \u2018who wants something casual\u2019 but then commits to the next girl and if you\u2019re going through the same, here are 7 possible reasons why he committed to another girl after going casual with you!<\/p>\n

He does want commitment, he just doesn\u2019t want it with you<\/h2>\n

I know it sounds harsh but sometimes it\u2019s the truth. Many guys out there really do want commitment but with the right one. Now, what does this mean?<\/p>\n

This definitely doesn\u2019t mean that there is something wrong with you or that you should have changed for him only to make him commit to you. No.<\/p>\n

It means you just weren\u2019t meant to be together and there\u2019s no point in blaming him for committing to the next girl.<\/p>\n

Quando um rapaz n\u00e3o faz ideia do que quer, com quem quer, quando ou como, as hip\u00f3teses de estragar tudo s\u00e3o muito elevadas.<\/p>\n

E j\u00e1 para n\u00e3o falar que ser indeciso \u00e9 um enorme desinteresse para qualquer mulher. Por isso, se ele lhe disse uma coisa num dia e outra no dia seguinte, sabe que ele n\u00e3o fazia ideia do que realmente queria (e pode dar gra\u00e7as a Deus por ele se ter ido embora).<\/p>\n

E mesmo que ele decidisse comprometer-se consigo, em breve mudaria de ideias e repetiria os mesmos cen\u00e1rios vezes sem conta. Quer dizer, quem \u00e9 que precisa disto na sua vida? Exatamente ningu\u00e9m.<\/p>\n

Ele j\u00e1 andava a sair com outra pessoa<\/h2>\n

Here\u2019s an interesting one. There are some guys who, due to being indecisive or just due to being the ultimate assholes, choose to date two girls simultaneously (of course, without telling them this). You can probably guess the rest of the scenario.<\/p>\n

Talvez tenha acontecido algo na vida dele que tenha mudado a sua perspetiva sobre as rela\u00e7\u00f5es na altura em que estava consigo. E quando ele conheceu a outra rapariga, o momento era o certo.<\/p>\n

Again, I would link this one with the first one that says you just weren\u2019t meant to be. After all, when two people are bound to be together, there is just no wrong time.<\/p>\n

E se estiver errado, certamente que se voltar\u00e3o a encontrar quando chegar a altura certa. Quando se olha para as coisas desta forma, parece bastante razo\u00e1vel.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s facing external pressure<\/h2>\n

Believe it or not, sometimes guys are facing external pressure from their friends or family. Sometimes the people close to them don\u2019t really like the girl they are dating, so they feel pressured to quit things.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve noticed that any of this was going on, then this could be the reason why he committed to another girl after going casual with you.<\/p>\n

Again, if this is the reason why he did that, it only shows his weakness and fickleness. It means he doesn\u2019t trust himself and he dances to other people\u2019s tunes.<\/p>\n

Now, I\u2019m not saying that he should never listen to his friends and family no matter what. Indeed he should but he should also listen to himself as well and that is the main characteristic of real men.<\/p>\n

When you mention the word \u2018commitment\u2019 to any guy, he will see it as something imprisoning. Boys and young men are encouraged to have fun, explore the world and only after to settle down to commit.<\/p>\n

And if the guy you were dating didn\u2019t go through any of this, he will feel imprisoned with you and he will tell you that he is not interested in or ready for anything serious.<\/p>\n

And after he\u2019s had his fun and explored the world, his associations with commitment will change. So, when he meets the next suitable girl, he will choose to commit to her because he feels he\u2019s finally ready for it.<\/p>\n

He really didn\u2019t want commitment but the right one came along<\/h2>\n

And the last but not the least. There are some guys who really didn\u2019t want commitment, not with you or with any others but somehow the right one came along after you.<\/p>\n

If this is the case, you can\u2019t really blame him because he was consistent in his decision that he didn\u2019t want commitment but then he was kind of forced to change his mind because he finally met the right one.<\/p>\n

And I can assure you that the same will happen to you sooner than you think and you will be happy that things didn\u2019t work out with the guy who refused to commit.<\/p>\n
