Estar sozinho n\u00e3o tem nada a ver com estar sozinho.<\/b> Deixem-me explicar.<\/span><\/p>\n

A few weeks ago I met my high school friend for coffee. I knew she was still single and I was kind of expecting her to be looking for love and honestly, a part of me thought she still didn\u2019t have it all.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pensei em todas as noites solit\u00e1rias que ela passa sozinha, desejando ter algu\u00e9m com quem partilhar a sua vida.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boy was I wrong. We reconnected and have been meeting occasionally and every single word I\u2019ve heard come out of her mouth proved to me just how happy and fulfilled her life is.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is content with being who she is and doesn\u2019t need a man to prove her worth, especially not the wrong man.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deciding to never let anyone mess with her head and draw her into a vicious cycle of lying, ignoring and cheating was the best choice she\u2019s ever made.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have so many other friends who are in relationships that do them no good. Aren\u2019t they more lonely than she is?<\/span><\/p>\n

T\u00eam parceiros que prestam muito pouca aten\u00e7\u00e3o a elas e \u00e0s suas necessidades. Est\u00e3o oficialmente com algu\u00e9m, mas na realidade est\u00e3o muito s\u00f3s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Being with a person who doesn\u2019t know how to make you happy or, even worse, doesn\u2019t at all care about making you happy is the loneliest a person can ever be.<\/b><\/p>\n

Sim, est\u00e1 numa rela\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e9 suposto as coisas serem perfeitas porque estar numa rela\u00e7\u00e3o significa ter uma pessoa com quem falar, uma pessoa que cuida de si, uma pessoa que o ama, respeita e acarinha.<\/span><\/p>\n

Infelizmente, muitas pessoas est\u00e3o na rela\u00e7\u00e3o errada. Muitas pessoas culpam-se por quererem muito mais do seu parceiro, pensando que s\u00e3o emocionalmente gananciosas, quando, na verdade, as suas necessidades nunca s\u00e3o satisfeitas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every single one of us has a right to love and be loved in return. What happens when the person who\u2019s supposed to love us does everything but?<\/b><\/p>\n

It\u2019s still hard for me to understand why but I can see clearly now that there are very few couples who are just right for each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

I get it. You\u2019re alone. Sente-se s\u00f3<\/a>. Pensa que qualquer afeto humano e qualquer aten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 melhor do que nada. O tempo passa e as migalhas de amor que o seu parceiro lhe d\u00e1 fazem-no sentir-se mais s\u00f3 do que nunca.<\/span><\/p>\n

This concept works when it comes to material things\u2014be happy with what you\u2019ve got. When it comes to love, this can never be the case.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mereces ser amado perfeitamente. Merece ser amado apaixonadamente. Mereces ter um parceiro que tenha medo de te perder. <\/b><\/p>\n

You deserve to have a partner who will only have eyes for you. You deserve to have a partner whose love for you will be bigger than anything else he\u2019s ever felt.<\/b><\/p>\n

N\u00e3o deves ter medo de ser solteiro. Deves ter medo de estar s\u00f3. <\/b>Being in a relationship doesn\u2019t guarantee the loneliness goes away.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s okay to be single. It\u2019s more than okay, it can be perfect for you. <\/span><\/p>\n

D\u00ea a si pr\u00f3prio a oportunidade de encontrar a pessoa certa. Entretanto, desfrute da sua pr\u00f3pria companhia. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ser solteiro \u00e9 sempre melhor do que estar numa rela\u00e7\u00e3o errada.<\/b> D\u00e1-lhe a oportunidade de se conhecer melhor, de desfrutar do seu tempo com os seus amigos, de aprender que a sua felicidade vem de dentro.<\/span><\/p>\n

No one will ever be able to fill every little hole in the story of your life, you\u2019re the only one who can do that.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stop losing time feeling abandoned while you\u2019re officially taken and know you should be cherished. Don\u2019t let your fear of loneliness in the single life stop you from giving yourself a chance to have a life you deserve. <\/span><\/p>\n

Leave. You don\u2019t belong there.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve already reached the worst level of loneliness in your bad relationship, you can only go up from here.<\/span><\/p>\n
