Let\u2019s never forget that nurses are the ones who are closest to us in the most vulnerable moments in our life.<\/p>\n

There aren\u2019t many professions that include being present at the most significant events in people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n

Os enfermeiros acompanham-nos desde o nascimento at\u00e9 \u00e0 morte, desde a doen\u00e7a at\u00e9 \u00e0 recupera\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

No momento em que respir\u00e1mos pela primeira vez, os enfermeiros estavam l\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Quando est\u00e1vamos a temer pela nossa sa\u00fade e pela sa\u00fade dos nossos entes queridos, eles estavam l\u00e1.<\/p>\n

When we\u2019re experiencing pain, loss or happiness, they are the ones who hold our hand, nurture us when we\u2019re helpless and celebrate when we recover.<\/p>\n

They are the silent heroes in the background of our life, rooting for us in the good times and the bad times and sometimes we don\u2019t even notice them. Let\u2019s change that!<\/p>\n

2. Arriscam as suas vidas para salvar as nossas<\/h2>\n

Not only that but the stress they experience is higher than normal, along with emotional baggage that\u2019s almost impossible to not experience in a job like this.<\/p>\n

\u00c9 necess\u00e1rio um ser humano excecional para desempenhar um trabalho que acarreta tanta responsabilidade e exige tanta for\u00e7a e empatia.<\/p>\n

Strength\u2014to endure anything, empathy\u2014to understand anyone.<\/p>\n

Colocam-se na linha da frente e arriscam literalmente as suas vidas para salvar as nossas.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget that nurses have their own families too.<\/p>\n

S\u00e3o m\u00e3es, irm\u00e3s, filhas e esposas, bem como pais, irm\u00e3os, filhos e maridos.<\/p>\n

As suas fam\u00edlias preocupam-se com eles e preocupam-se com o seu bem-estar todos os dias.<\/p>\n

Apesar de tudo isto, a sua paix\u00e3o e vontade de ajudar as pessoas \u00e9 o que os leva a fazer o seu trabalho todos os dias e a nunca desistir.<\/p>\n

3. Cuidam de n\u00f3s da mesma forma que cuidam dos seus entes queridos<\/h2>\n

Nurses don\u2019t see the differences between humans, they only see people in need, people who need care and help.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why their vocation is one of the most selfless vocations in the world.<\/p>\n

Tratar e ajudar todos por igual \u00e9 realizar o maior ideal da humanidade.<\/p>\n

Os enfermeiros reconhecem o valor de cada ser humano e valorizam a vida, fazendo do bem-estar humano a sua prioridade.<\/p>\n

4. Mudaram a hist\u00f3ria da humanidade com a sua bondade<\/h2>\n

\"Enfermeira<\/p>\n

H\u00e1 muitos exemplos na hist\u00f3ria em que os enfermeiros salvaram pessoas colectivas, bem como indiv\u00edduos, de uma crise.<\/p>\n

No s\u00e9culo XIX, foram as enfermeiras que introduziram pr\u00e1ticas sanit\u00e1rias durante as guerras e salvaram milhares de pessoas, se n\u00e3o mais, de contrair infec\u00e7\u00f5es e morrer.<\/p>\n

Foram eles que ajudaram os doentes que sofriam de doen\u00e7as transmiss\u00edveis desconhecidas quando toda a gente tinha medo de o fazer.<\/p>\n

They didn\u2019t leave them to die alone.<\/p>\n

Nurses invented many things and discovered many useful practices that save people\u2019s lives to this day, just by being there for their patients, listening to their needs and caring for their health and lives.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget to mention all the occasions when nurses react in time and save people in public places by recognizing symptoms of strokes and other dangers. True heroes!<\/p>\n

5. S\u00e3o seres humanos extremamente corajosos<\/h2>\n

\"Enfermeira<\/p>\n

To be a nurse is to be a brave human being. To put patients\u2019 needs first is something remarkable and worthy of praise after all.<\/p>\n

Ao longo da hist\u00f3ria, muitas enfermeiras foram volunt\u00e1rias que arriscaram as suas vidas em tempos de guerra e epidemias, viram coisas inimagin\u00e1veis e, no entanto, resistiram e lutaram pelo bem.<\/p>\n

Nurses have acted with courage and selflessness in almost every disaster that has happened to humankind and that\u2019s why we need to thank them from the bottom of our hearts.<\/p>\n

Agradecer aos enfermeiros da sua vida<\/a> e na sua comunidade e faz\u00ea-los sentir-se reconhecidos.<\/p>\n
