O que \u00e9 a verdadeira felicidade? \u00c9 algo que pode ser visto ou antes sentido?<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00c9 poss\u00edvel encontrar a verdadeira felicidade e viver uma vida preenchida e feliz?<\/em><\/p>\n

Don’t worry, I’ve been asking the same thing myself over and over again, and it took me a few harsh life lessons to finally learn the meaning of true happiness.<\/p>\n

For a long time, I’ve been running in circles thinking that finding happiness is about achieving things in life that are considered worthy (by society or the media).<\/p>\n

I was convinced that if I succeed in finishing college, buying that expensive car, traveling the world, partying hard, finding a perfect partner, and living life to the fullest, I\u2019d be truly happy.<\/p>\n

I thought that if I buy that one certain product that’s been advertised by the media as something truly magnificent and life transformative, it would make me happy.<\/p>\n

Mas a verdade \u00e9 que quanto mais comprava, menos feliz me sentia.<\/p>\n

I’m not saying that finishing college or being able to travel around the world is not something you should be proud of or happy about, but is all this really the definition of true happiness?<\/p>\n

Is finding true happiness connected with our goals, expensive things, or reckless lifestyle? I don’t think so.<\/p>\n

True happiness doesn’t exist in a materialistic, tangible shape. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It’s a feeling buried deep inside every human being that can only be activated by pursuing true ideals, being in love and harmony with yourself and the world we live in.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

By being focused only on what I’d been served by mainstream society and media, I neglected the real values that were given to us by birth.<\/p>\n

Em metade da minha humilde vida, andei a brincar \u00e0s escondidas.<\/p>\n

When you don’t know what true happiness is, it’s easy for you to blame and judge everyone and everything around you if you fail to find it.<\/p>\n

If you don’t pass an exam and you’ve been learning really hard, it’s someone else’s fault (it’s either about impossible grading criteria or a teacher).<\/p>\n

If you don’t have enough money to buy what you want, it’s again someone else’s fault (the state you live in, your boss, or other circumstances).<\/p>\n

When you’re convinced that happiness is something tangible, something that you can see and whose existence gives you immense satisfaction, you become a slave to your own definition of it.<\/p>\n

If you put your happiness in someone else’s hands, you will never be truly happy.<\/h2>\n

Happiness comes within you. You cannot chase it, you cannot “earn” it (not by money).<\/p>\n

Muitas vezes, definimos a felicidade como a aus\u00eancia de algo na nossa vida e pensamos que, quando a alcan\u00e7amos, o sucesso e a satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o imediata est\u00e3o garantidos.<\/p>\n

Muitas vezes pensamos que, se finalmente encontrarmos a pessoa certa, nos sentiremos amados e felizes.<\/p>\n

We’re convinced that without meeting someone who fulfils us, we will never be happy on our own because we lack love.<\/p>\n

But, the truth is that we don’t lack love in the general sense of it \u2013t we lack amor-pr\u00f3prio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We lack love toward ourselves and that’s why we’re so stubborn to keep looking for it somewhere else.<\/p>\n

We might feel like we’re truly happy, but this only lasts for a while. Such happiness is not long-term.<\/p>\n

You can spend your whole life working hard to get all those things, but you’ll be miserable in the process.<\/p>\n

If you think you’re happy, you will be happy. If you think you’re not, you won’t be.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you work hard and strive to be your best every day of your life and you’re still not happy because you think that’s not enough, think again.<\/p>\n

Because if you think you’re happy, you will be.<\/p>\n

It’s about being grateful for covering all your basic needs \u2013 being able to walk, talk, smile; enjoying the little things in your daily life, and appreciating all those positive emotions.<\/p>\n

It’s waking up in the morning and realizing that you have enough to be happy today.<\/p>\n

Tem um s\u00edtio para dormir, a sua fam\u00edlia, comida, talvez um animal de estima\u00e7\u00e3o, etc.<\/p>\n

Porque ser verdadeiramente feliz n\u00e3o \u00e9 estar constantemente a desejar viver uma vida mais feliz; \u00e9 trabalhar arduamente e apreciar a vida que j\u00e1 se tem.
\nIf you don’t dig deeper within yourself, you will realize that there will always be something that you’ll be missing in life.<\/p>\n

If you’re not grateful for what you already have, you’ll be miserable every day of your life.<\/p>\n

A verdadeira felicidade consiste em ser capaz de aceitar as coisas que n\u00e3o se podem mudar.<\/h2>\n

A maior fonte de infelicidade e frustra\u00e7\u00e3o reside na nossa incapacidade de mudar certas coisas.<\/p>\n

Talvez tenha algumas imperfei\u00e7\u00f5es corporais que n\u00e3o podem ser corrigidas ou inadequa\u00e7\u00f5es no seu passado ou presente que tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o podem ser alteradas.<\/p>\n

Mas, mesmo assim, esfor\u00e7a-se por mud\u00e1-las.<\/p>\n

You refuse to accept the fact that you can’t do anything about it and are convinced that the only time you’ll be truly happy is if you succeed in making things different.<\/p>\n

O seu corpo, mente e alma recusam-se a aceitar as coisas que n\u00e3o pode mudar e torna-se prisioneiro do seu pr\u00f3prio dispositivo.<\/p>\n

Retira-se do mundo real, criando um outro para si pr\u00f3prio, onde se sente suficientemente confort\u00e1vel para fantasiar sobre uma outra realidade onde as coisas s\u00e3o diferentes, onde as coisas s\u00e3o melhores do que s\u00e3o agora.<\/p>\n

Quanto mais tenta esconder-se e fugir, mais miser\u00e1vel se sente. E depois perguntamo-nos:<\/p>\n

What is true happiness? Will I ever be happy if I don’t succeed in changing all those things that apparently cannot be changed?<\/p>\n

Those things are higher than ourselves and we can try as hard as we like, but we still won’t succeed. And that’s the beauty of it.<\/p>\n

Nada nesta vida pode ser visto como perfeito, porque cada coisa tem os seus aspectos positivos e negativos.<\/p>\n

Every single person has his or her own quirks and flaws, and being truly happy doesn’t mean deleting them for good.<\/p>\n

The perfect makeup, perfect hairstyle, or perfect body doesn’t exist.<\/p>\n

Well, it does exist, but only in the media. True happiness doesn\u2019t lie in meeting the standards of mass media, but in creating your own.<\/p>\n

True happiness is realizing that you’re a perfectly imperfect human being.<\/h2>\n

Because true happiness is not about the pursuit of perfection, it’s about the process of embracing imperfection and doing your best to become the best version of yourself.<\/p>\n

It’s understanding that your role is not to become perfect according to some impossible, imposed standards by others, but realizing your own potential, moving boundaries, overcoming your fears, and so on.<\/p>\n

True happiness doesn\u2019t come from having everything at your disposal, but realizing how little you actually need to be truly happy.<\/p>\n

It’s about realizing that there isn’t another you in the whole, damn world and that’s what makes you truly unique and special!<\/strong><\/p>\n

A verdadeira felicidade \u00e9 perceber a relva n\u00e3o \u00e9 mais verde<\/a> do outro lado da veda\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

There will always be someone who will have something better, greater than you and this doesn’t necessarily mean that they are truly happy.<\/p>\n

This doesn’t mean that the only way for you to be truly happy is if you had the same thing as them or had the same life as them.<\/p>\n

Nem tudo \u00e9 o que parece.<\/p>\n

In every person’s life, relationship, or marriage, there are tons of ups and downs, happy moments and less happy moments, but sometimes we refuse or are unable to see it.<\/p>\n

E a verdadeira felicidade reside na capacidade de questionar o que se v\u00ea e desafiar o que se acredita.<\/p>\n

Being truly happy is when you focus on yourself and see the bigger picture of everything, instead of being jealous of other people’s success.<\/p>\n

Just because someone else has a nice car or a big house, this doesn’t mean that they are better than you!<\/em><\/p>\n

Just because someone else has pretty hair or nails, this doesn’t make you less beautiful!<\/em><\/p>\n

Just because someone has finished college, this doesn’t make you less intelligent or capable!<\/em><\/p>\n

Nem todos n\u00f3s temos a possibilidade de terminar a faculdade, comprar um bom carro ou ir ao sal\u00e3o de beleza mais caro.<\/p>\n

And it’s in our human nature to be envious of those who do have the opportunity to achieve all this.<\/p>\n

Mas, o que muitas vezes esquecemos \u00e9 que essas coisas n\u00e3o s\u00e3o um pr\u00e9-requisito para a verdadeira felicidade.<\/p>\n
