Sempre acreditei que ser leal at\u00e9 \u00e0 exaust\u00e3o era a minha maior virtude no que diz respeito \u00e0s rela\u00e7\u00f5es. <\/span><\/p>\n

Honestly, I couldn\u2019t think of anything more desirable in a partner than being loyal to the one they love. I was so proud of being someone a person could always count on, no matter what.<\/span><\/p>\n

O que aconteceu para mudar isso? Bem, tu entraste na minha vida. <\/span><\/p>\n

Apaixonei-me t\u00e3o profundamente e dei-te tudo o que tinha, o pacote completo, <\/span>fidelidade<\/span><\/a> inclu\u00eddo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Houve tantas oportunidades para eu quebrar a tua confian\u00e7a, mas nunca o fiz. Recusei orgulhosamente qualquer homem que se atirasse a mim, por mais giro, atraente ou interessante que parecesse. <\/span><\/p>\n

Somehow, I still blamed myself. Now I can\u2019t even remember what kind of thought stream got me to think that way but I remember it had a lot to do with me thinking I was too loyal to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

I got myself to believe that I was too trusting and naive and that\u2019s why you had a chance to break me and lower my self-esteem but… no. <\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not the one to blame, you are. I can\u2019t be responsible for how you decided to treat me.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not you. I didn\u2019t give you a motive, I didn\u2019t push you away with too much attention or whatever crap they\u2019ve been telling girls who get lied to and cheated on.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I was being myself. I was being loyal, open and trusting because that\u2019s who I am and because I thought you deserved it. I loved you, I wanted to treat you the best possible way.<\/span><\/p>\n

Na altura, disse a mim pr\u00f3prio que devia <\/span>ter mais cuidado com as pessoas em quem confio<\/span><\/a> and that\u2019s something I still do believe. <\/span><\/p>\n

Being more careful never hurt anyone, but when someone intentionally tries to fool you, there\u2019s hardly anything you can do about that.<\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter how smart, strong or empowered you are.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you come from the point of view that people who love each other should treat each other with respect, kindness and honesty, it\u2019s hard for you to assume someone would do anything but that.<\/span><\/p>\n

I now know I don\u2019t need to minimize my loyalty or become a bitch in order to match immature, selfish men who know nothing about love.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

A verdade \u00e9 que posso ser quem quero ser, posso ser quem sou: uma rapariga que ama apaixonadamente e d\u00e1 tudo de si \u00e0 pessoa que escolhe.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m not the one who should change. The only thing that needs to be changed in my life is a man who doesn\u2019t know how to appreciate me. <\/span><\/p>\n
