There are too many things in life that don’t last and love shouldn\u2019t be one of them.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve already had people coming in and out of my life who were supposed to be my friends, I\u2019ve had men telling me that they loved me in one moment and then turning their backs to me the next, and I had people who promised to be there just to go and disappear when I needed them the most.<\/p>\n

This year was full of things that didn’t last. I\u2019ve been put through hell by the people who should\u2019ve cared for me the most.<\/p>\n

My heart has been broken, my back is full of knives and my eyes have no more tears to cry despite the pain I\u2019m feeling.<\/p>\n

But, I\u2019m not giving up. No, not me.<\/p>\n

Escolho manter-me otimista. Escolho ser positivo. Escolho esperar pela luz ao fundo do t\u00fanel.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m putting all my hopes in the year that is yet to come. I\u2019ve had my fair share of hell and now it\u2019s time to finally experience the happiness that stays and a love that doesn\u2019t leave me. That’s me, an eternal optimist.<\/p>\n

Out of all the wishes someone could have for the year to come, I only have one\u2014all I want is a love that stays.<\/b><\/p>\n

I don’t want anything temporary anymore. I want a love that doesn’t leave. I want that\u00a0para sempre<\/em> hist\u00f3ria.<\/p>\n

I want a love that makes me feel like I\u2019m good enough.<\/b> Like I\u2019m more than my mistakes and like my imperfections are not ever allowed to shadow my good side.<\/p>\n

I want a love in which I won\u2019t be mistreated for making a mistake, where my efforts will be appreciated and where I\u2019ll feel like I am just fine in my own skin.<\/p>\n

Quero um amor que me fa\u00e7a sentir em casa, um amor que me fa\u00e7a sentir segura.<\/b> \u00a0I want a love that will be my safe haven, a love for which I\u2019ll thank God each day and night, a love that will make me feel comfortable enough to be who I am, where I won\u2019t need to put on any masks, where I won\u2019t need to pretend to be something I\u2019m not.<\/p>\n

Quero um amor em que eu sinta que sou importante. <\/b> I just need love in which I\u2019ll feel like my feelings matter, like what I have to say is important,\u00a0 like something would change if I disappeared all of a sudden. I want a love in which I know I\u2019ll be missed if I\u2019m gone.<\/p>\n

Quero um amor que fique, o amor com que posso contar. <\/b> I want a love that will make me feel high, a love that will take me to the stars and a love that I\u2019ll be selfish about and that will make me not want to share with anyone.<\/p>\n

I want a love that cares, a love that\u2019s honest, a love that\u2019s there just because of me, a love that doesn’t treat me like a backup plan.<\/b><\/p>\n

Quero um amor que prometa ficar. <\/b><\/a> Um amor que cumpre as suas promessas, um amor que fica mesmo quando os tempos se tornam dif\u00edceis, que segura a minha m\u00e3o durante todas as tempestades e um amor que \u00e9 a minha luz ao fundo do t\u00fanel.<\/p>\n

A love that helps me when I lose my faith, a love that doesn\u2019t allow me to get tired, a love that makes sense out of everything bad. That\u2019s what kind of love I want in 2025.<\/p>\n

Prometo deixar todos os meus desgostos em 2024. Prometo esquecer todos aqueles que me quebraram, me tra\u00edram ou me mentiram e prometo come\u00e7ar do zero quando este novo amor entrar na minha vida.<\/p>\n

With this new year, I\u2019m ready for a new beginning, a better beginning.<\/p>\n

The year to come is about hope. And even though this year has left me bruised, even though I’ve fallen a hundred times, I managed to stand up and I’m still standing, ready to start from scratch.<\/b><\/p>\n

I’m full of hope when it comes to 2025 because I know what I’ve been through and I know I get to be rewarded for the hell 2024 has put me through.<\/p>\n
