It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do in life, and how much you have accomplished. I’m certain that you have one final goal which is common to every human being alive, and that is to be happy.
É claro que a felicidade tem um significado diferente para cada um de nós.
Alguns pensam que ser feliz é dormir ao lado da pessoa amada ou simplesmente poder dormir tranquilamente. Alguns encontram a felicidade na boa saúde, enquanto outros perseguem os bens materiais e o dinheiro.
No entanto, tenho de vos desiludir e dizer-vos que nenhum destes grupos adquire realmente a verdadeira felicidade.
De facto, as pessoas que percebem que Deus é suficiente acabam por ser as mais felizes.
These are the only people who don’t worry about what tomorrow will bring, who don’t overthink the past, trying to change it, and who live a life without any fear.
It doesn’t matter what religion you belong to—the bottom line is always the same: se tiveres fé suficiente em Deus, tudo o resto nesta existência terrena torna-se completamente irrelevante.
Don’t see this as me trying to brainwash you and tell you that you’ll live a stress-free life once you realize that you don’t need anyone besides Him. I won’t lie to you—bad things will continue to happen, obstacles will keep on appearing in your way, and you’ll still have problems.

You don’t need other people you can trust and rely on, when you have Him who’ll never leave your side. You stop chasing everyone’s attention and admiration, and you stop putting others in the centre of your Universe.
Mesmo quando todos te abandonam, sabes que Ele permanece, aconteça o que acontecer. Even when you feel pain for someone’s absence, His presence makes it a lot easier and more bearable.
Por isso, por favor, deixem de perseguir os prazeres terrenos, o amor temporário, luxúria a curto prazo ou objectos materiais.
Acredite em mim quando lhe digo que nenhuma destas coisas lhe trará alegria nem o fará sentir-se completo e realizado.
Em vez disso, concentra todas as tuas forças na procura de Deus.
Persegui a fé e compreendei que ela é a única coisa que vos fará verdadeira e totalmente felizes.
