Recentemente, li algures a seguinte citação: I know what I bring to the table, and I’m not afraid to eat alone.
He knows what he is bringing and because of that he’s not afraid to eat by himself. He’s not afraid of everyone leaving him because he knows the true worth of the nourishment he is bringing.

Absorb it. Feel the beauty of it. This simple statement means that you need to know your worth (you need to know what you’re bringing to the table) if you want others to appreciate you.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not worthy of being respected and appreciated for who you are.
You’re the only one who knows what challenges you had to overcome in order to become who you are today. You’re the only one who knows your ability to love, give and receive.
And you’re the only who can tell them that this is who you are, and they better appreciate it or you’ll go with those awesome traits of yours somewhere else to someone else who will appreciate them.
Estabelecer limites.
As pessoas cometem erros. Eu cometo erros. Tu cometes erros. E é isso que nos torna humanos.
You’re allowed to make mistakes, but you should also know when to apologize or when to say that it’s enough.
But, if someone pisses you off, don’t be nice to them. Show them your rage, and they will respect you.
Show them that you’re only human just as they are, but also show them that you’re not just any kind of human.
You are a human with a big heart, and that is what distinguishes you from the others. And if they don’t appreciate your big heart, they are certainly not worth your time.
Life’s too short to waste time on people who are not worth your second. You should never make someone a priority who is not ready to simply be there for you.
Diz-lhes: It’s enough!

You have a unique way of walking, greeting people and smiling. There’s not a single person in the world who shares your traits and abilities.
You are you. And why would you let anyone tell you that you’re not doing something right (if they don’t have a valid reason for it)?
And if they don’t appreciate what you bring to the table, let them eat alone.
If they don’t appreciate you for who you are, don’t change yourself. If they don’t appreciate your efforts, stop trying.
If they don’t appreciate your love, give your heart to someone else. Just don’t let them take you for granted.
Don’t let them think that you’ll do anything to make them happy. If you’re not happy with something, leave.
Mostre-lhes que saiba o seu valor , and if they don’t respect it, leave them. Leave them because és suficientemente bom .
And if they don’t recognize your efforts and you’re killing yourself to achieve something, leave them.
And when you give all of yourself, you have every right to expect that it will be noticed and that you’ll receive something in return.
And if they don’t appreciate you at your worst, they certainly don’t deserve you at your best.
Mostra as tuas verdadeiras cores.
You are here, living in the present, and if you’re reading this, it means you’re aware of yourself, and you’re not afraid to get inspired by things around you.
But, please, don’t try to be perfect. Know that you don’t have to be perfect in order to be loved and respected.
