TikTok has definitely had some questionable trends so you might think that’s all it has to offer. Well, you’re wrong. A trend that is currently circulating around TikTok is proving that some stereotypes about men are completely wrong.

TikTok’s most recent trend is leaving everyone shocked that men are actually capable of being so emotional. The trend is called “Tell me about her” embora inicialmente tenha começado como um post em que se pedia às mulheres que escrevessem algo sobre o amor da sua vida.
So what is it about? People make posts saying “Tell me about her/him” on their TikTok and others are leaving comments writing about their significant other or in some cases about aquele que fugiu.
O objetivo é criar um um lugar seguro onde as pessoas podem partilhar honestamente o que quiserem. Some users even say they’ll delete their posts after 24 hours so people feel even more free to comment on what’s truly on their minds.

Os homens estão definitivamente a melhorar o seu jogo com esta tendência e a partilhar histórias que são mais do que sentidas. Estes trechos de confissões genuínas estão a quebrar estereótipos comuns sobre os homens não serem emocionais e mostrarem que também podem ser vulneráveis.
