He probably never talked openly to you and is keeping you in a grey zone where everything is possible. So, to some extension, it’s not your fault that you’ve been kept in the dark. It’s logical that you will draw your own conclusions and hope for the best.

But, let’s face it, this way you are only prolonging the inevitable. By choosing to be blind in order not to get hurt, you are only making it worse when the truth comes to light—and it will. You will only get attached to him even more and therefore, you’re going to hurt much harder.

Ele engana-te

This is that grey area I’ve written about. This is the position that suits him best. He probably doesn’t know exactly what he wants or you are his backup girlfriend, so he keeps you around giving you hope that someday it may turn into something more.

I hate to break it to you, but it will change only if he wants it to. Do you want to be a girlfriend of the guy who wasn’t sure about you right at the beginning? I think not.

Ele esconde o telemóvel

This is too suspicious. Most people nowadays keep their phones in front of them because let’s face it, we can’t live without our phones anymore. If he is being weird and secretive about his phone, he is probably hiding something.

Maybe he already has a girlfriend and although his phone is probably on mute while he is with you, he is afraid that her name might pop up on the screen and then he is busted—which most definitely doesn’t work to his advantage.

Ele nunca fala sobre o futuro

Whenever he plans something, he never mentions you. He never uses “we”, he always uses “I” which is definitely not a good sign.

This means that he isn’t planning to be with you for a longer time. You are probably only his plan B until something better comes along.

He isn’t around when you need him

He has the perfect ability to disappear when you need him to be there for you. When you are going through a rough period in life, when you have problems and you need someone just to be there for you and to listen to you, he won’t be there.

He doesn’t feel he needs to comfort you because he doesn’t care for you. This is an undeniable sign that you are just a booty call for him.

Evita apresentar-te aos seus amigos ou familiares

He will mostly try to hide you from everyone he knows. He is well aware of the fact that for him, what you have is not serious, so he doesn’t want anyone to know about you.

He even takes you to places where he is sure nobody he knows will see you. The bottom line is that if he never introduces you to anyone, he doesn’t take you seriously.

Ele faz planos de última hora consigo

He is texting you because he wants to hook up with you and texting: “What’s up?” is a lame attempt to see if you are awake and up for it.

Ele vai-se embora logo após o sexo

Chega tarde e vai-se embora assim que acaba. De que é que precisa mais?
