Tengo el marido perfecto y mis hijos tienen el mejor padre del mundo

I must admit I’ve been very lucky, my husband is a great father. I didn’t know how much I loved him until I saw him loving our kids.

Él hace de nuestro hogar un lugar pacífico, cariñoso y enriquecedor en el que vivir.

He’s just a man but when con los niños se transforma en un héroe. I gave them the best gift by choosing him to be their father. He doesn’t tell them how to live, he lives and shows them how to do it.

Ayer, cuando estábamos terminando de cenar, levantó a nuestro hijo y le besó la mejilla. Luego lo llevó al dormitorio para que se preparara para ir a la cama. Me calentó el corazón. Amo a ese hombre.

Y daughter, she’s his princess of course. Está muy interesado en su bienestar y felicidad. 

Hace unas semanas íbamos en el coche y sonaban a todo volumen canciones de Disney. La canción “A girl worth fighting for” de Mulán. Entonces me coge la mano y se va “You and Jessica”. Jesica is our daughter. Lord help me, it’s been 10 years and this man still makes my heart skip a beat.

Él establece un alto estándar para su futura perspectiva sobre los hombres. Ella se ilumina como el sol cuando él llega a casa del trabajo.

Cuando recuerdo creció sin un padre presente en su vida, Le respeto aún más. Quiero decir que no tenía ningún modelo a seguir.

Tal vez porque toda su vida echó de menos la figura paterna, todo eso le hizo tan devoto y cariñoso. Quiere que nuestros hijos tengan todo lo que a él le faltó en la infancia.

He always puts family first. That’s why he passed on a few job promotion opportunities over the years as he’d be expected to spend lots of time away from home. Being present in the kids’ lives is priceless y ningún aumento podría compensarlo.

Incluso después de los estresantes días de trabajo llega a casa sonriente, atento y dispuesto a jugar con los niños. Los padres medios tienen paciencia, él tiene MÁS paciencia. 

He‘s no sólo paciente, sino cariñoso, devoto y el hombre más dulce que conozco.

He’s there for cuddles. He’s there when they have a nightmare. For the medicine if they’re sick. 

A menudo les prepara el desayuno. He’s there to take them and pick them up from daycare and school. He makes sure they brush their teeth and take a shower.

I see the joy in my kids’ eyes when he’s around. He’s their guide, their hero, and their big support. Being there to see their milestones, help them with homework, or join their plays, he’s a true role model. 

I’m blessed to have him as my co-parent and partner. I’m thankful for everything he does and everything he is to me. I’m thankful that he’s my lover, my backbone, and my best friend.

Le aprecio más de lo que las palabras pueden describir.

Me encanta que siempre pueda hacerme reír. Incluso en mis días más bajos, me hace sentir valorado y escuchado. Su compasión hace que nuestra relación sea cada día más fuerte.

Me encanta que sabe comunicar sus necesidades y atender las mías. 

Ayuda en las tareas domésticas y cancela las citas de café con sus colegas para que yo pueda tomarme un descanso.

I’m so lucky to have him by my side.

I’m thankful he’s believing in us and haciendo nuestras vidas tan increíbles. Por ser él mismo y amarme a mí y a nuestros hijos. Por darles amor y orientación en la vida.

I’m grateful for all the memories we created together and the beautiful parenting journey we’re on. He’s a true partner in every sense of the word y aprecio cada momento que pasamos juntos.

Doy gracias a Dios todos los días por haberme dado el marido perfecto y el padre perfecto para nuestros hijos.
