Usually, when you decide to break up your relationship for whatever reason, there is always a fear of leaving things unsaid. Even when you end it impulsively because he did something unforgivable, you have to have the final word.
I have a strong desire to use the words as a final stroke to an ending relationship. Maybe I’m afraid if I keep it to myself it’ll become poisonous and destroy my insides.
Sometimes you’re not even aware that it will be the last text exchange as he suddenly decides to ghost you. Or if YOU leave without saying anything – that is a message too.
Anyway, I asked my friends to share some of the hilarious last texts they’ve sent or received and I promise you’ll be amused.
1. “Was he any good?”
I sensed it a couple of weeks before, and then one day I saw her coworker sneaking out of our house while I was parking the car (I came back from work earlier). When I came in I looked at her blushed face and bedhead and I knew she had just slept with him.
I didn’t tell her anything, I started packing my things. She was following me around and kept asking “What are you doing? What’s wrong?”
I had to go somewhere, I couldn’t stand being in that house for another second. I drove to my parent’s place and texted her when I got there.

2. “You made me feel like a hostage. You’re sick.”
He couldn’t stop it. He was so possessive and pathologically jealous. I had to answer his calls immediately otherwise he would continue calling until the battery would die. Once I picked up the phone and there were 27 missed calls from him. Psycho, I’m telling you.
I had no other option but to disappear into thin air. I just texted this, advised him to seek professional help, and blocked him for good.

I’ve sent this and then blocked him on social media. He cheated on me and when I found out about it, he said it all happened accidentally and he didn’t mean to be unfaithful.

Then my friend had a business trip in his hometown and she saw him holding hands with some woman. She took a picture and sent it to me immediately and I recognized his ex. I couldn’t believe he was such a liar!

After I broke free from a toxic relationship I finally felt what it is like to live without constant pressure. Life was good. I couldn’t believe I tortured myself for such a long time by being with someone who was so mean to me.
Finally, I could breathe and had to share how happy I was without her around.
