2. A true partner

He wants to have you by his side to do things he likes with him. He will never try to convince you to do something with him because, naturally, you would resist even more.

That’s why he keeps his mouth shut and maybe hints to you about what he really wants.

He wants someone to talk to about the things he likes and he wants you to understand when he needs his space so that you back down and leave him to solve things himself.

In other words, he wants someone who can understand him, someone who is his true partner in everything he does.
