The easiest way to do that is by having standards. You won’t allow toxicity and maltreatment in your life.

You won’t settle for somebody who treats you like you are unworthy. That’s in the past and ‘the one’ would never act like that.

‘The one’ will not be all you imagined; será perfectamente imperfecto and more than you could ever wish for. He won’t read your mind and he won’t do things as you picture them but he will do it his way and it will be outstanding.

También te molestará a veces con pequeñas tonterías, pero de la forma más dulce posible. A veces olvidará cosas que te gustaría que recordara, pero compensará esos momentos con cosas maravillosas y te dejará sin palabras.

All the difficulties you’ve been through, all the love disappointments, he’ll make into distant memories. He’ll concentrate on putting a smile on your face and be the one to wipe your tears while trying his best not to be the one who put them there.

Sabrá amar and he won’t have any problem with reciprocating everything you give him. In his humility, you will see that he is grateful to have you as much as you are of having him.
