Las personas que entienden que Dios es suficiente son las más felices

It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do in life, and how much you have accomplished. I’m certain that you have one final goal which is common to every human being alive, and that is to be happy.

Por supuesto, la felicidad tiene un significado diferente para cada uno de nosotros.

Algunos piensan que ser feliz es dormir junto a la persona amada o simplemente poder dormir plácidamente. Algunos encuentran la felicidad en la buena salud, mientras que otros persiguen las posesiones materiales y el dinero.

Sin embargo, tengo que decepcionarle y decirle que ninguno de estos grupos adquiere realmente la verdadera felicidad.

De hecho, las personas que se dan cuenta de que Dios es suficiente acaban siendo las más felices.

These are the only people who don’t worry about what tomorrow will bring, who don’t overthink the past, trying to change it, and who live a life without any fear.

It doesn’t matter what religion you belong to—the bottom line is always the same: si tienes suficiente fe en Dios, todo lo demás en esta existencia terrenal se vuelve completamente irrelevante.

Don’t see this as me trying to brainwash you and tell you that you’ll live a stress-free life once you realize that you don’t need anyone besides Him. I won’t lie to you—bad things will continue to happen, obstacles will keep on appearing in your way, and you’ll still have problems.

Sin embargo, cuando crees en Dios, hay algo que cambia drásticamente: tu percepción de todo lo que ocurre a tu alrededor.

No, your life won’t magically fall into place, and your problems don’t disappear, as if they were never there.

Sin embargo, consigues tu paz interior, y no hay nada más importante que eso.

You get the realization that you don’t depend on anyone besides God and that He is the only one who can impact your life besides yourself.

Cuando tu fe en Dios es firme, te das cuenta de que todo sucede por una razón, y buscas el bien en todas las situaciones malas que ocurren. Le permites que te guíe y confías en Él para que te muestre el camino correcto.

You understand that everything you are going through happened for your own good. You become optimistic and look forward to every new day because you see your life as a perfect puzzle and because you know that God always has a plan, even when you don’t see it.

You’re at peace because you know that He’ll never give you more than you can handle and because you realize that all the tough love He’s been giving you is nothing but a valuable lesson which will transform you into the person you’re destined to be.

Cuando ves que Dios es suficiente, tienes paciencia, y todas tus preocupaciones desaparecen. Sabes que no tiene sentido romperse la cabeza porque tu futuro ya está escrito.

Eres consciente de que tu vida saldrá como tiene que salir. You know that you’ll get exactly what and who is destined to be yours, and even when you lose someone, you understand that you were better off without them.

Once you understand that God is enough, you are no longer a control freak, and you don’t think that everything is in your hands.

Aprendes a suelta y sigue adelante con tu vida porque sabes que siempre te espera algo mejor.

Aceptas que algunas cosas y personas simplemente no están destinadas a ser, que todos tus esfuerzos por cambiar eso son en vano y que no hay nada que puedas hacer al respecto. 

Just like that, everything becomes crystal clear, and you get to bottom of life’s meaning and the purpose you have on Earth.

Empiezas a ver el mundo que te rodea desde una perspectiva completamente distinta y obtienes todas las respuestas que llevas tanto tiempo buscando.

Most importantly—Cuando te das cuenta de Su importancia, dejas de buscar amor en todos los lugares equivocados y de las personas equivocadas. Ya no dependes de los demás para que te validen y demuestren tu valía.

You don’t allow your happiness to be connected with anyone else.

Dejas de tener todas las dudas sobre ti mismo que te han estado comiendo vivo simplemente porque crees en Su luz para guiarte y sacarte de la oscuridad, pase lo que pase.

You don’t need other people you can trust and rely on, when you have Him who’ll never leave your side. You stop chasing everyone’s attention and admiration, and you stop putting others in the centre of your Universe.

Incluso cuando todos te abandonan, sabes que Él permanece, pase lo que pase. Even when you feel pain for someone’s absence, His presence makes it a lot easier and more bearable.

Así que, por favor, deja de perseguir placeres terrenales, amor temporal, lujuria a corto plazo o pertenencias materiales.

Créeme cuando te digo que ninguna de estas cosas te traerá alegría ni te hará sentir completo y realizado.

En su lugar, concentra todas tus fuerzas en la búsqueda de Dios.

Persigue la fe, y comprende que es lo único que te hará verdadera y absolutamente feliz.
