Le 10 cose che i ragazzi non sopportano del trucco

Ogni uomo è consapevole del fatto che il trucco è una parte essenziale della routine quotidiana di (quasi) ogni donna. Il trucco è uno dei modi più semplici per migliorare l'umore e sentirsi bene con se stessi. 

It’s also one of the most effective ways to attract men (o farli scappare da voi). Men don’t perceive makeup the same way as women and there are some things about it that they find extremely appalling!

DISCLAIMER: I’m completely aware of the fact that most women actually don’t care about what guys think about makeup, but I think it would be fair to hear their opinion as well. 

Here are the top things about makeup guys can’t stand:

1. Gli uomini hanno LETTERALMENTE paura dei rossetti brillanti.

When a man sees a woman wearing bright lipstick, he can’t help but think the following: 

“I’m wondering what my lips will look like after I kiss her.” 

“I can’t focus on anything else on her except her lipstick.” 

“Man, my eyes hurt!”

Secondo gli uomini, indossare un rossetto brillante significa esagerare e rovinare la possibilità di accentuare la propria bellezza naturale. 

2. Le ciglia finte hanno un aspetto spaventoso. 

Sebbene molte donne pensino che ciglia lunghe e sontuose (leggi: ciglia finte) attirino l'attenzione dei potenziali corteggiatori e degli uomini più sexy, la verità è ben diversa. 

Le ciglia finte fanno paura agli uomini. Perché? Because they don’t look natural.

(I’m sure many other men support his opinion which is something you shouldn’t take for granted.)

3. Guys can’t stand eyebrows that look painted on.

Come i rossetti brillanti, anche le sopracciglia dipinte sembrano artificiali ed eccessive. Oltre ad avere un aspetto poco invitante, gli uomini temono anche che le sopracciglia si cancellino. 

As a matter of fact, they simply can’t understand a woman’s tendency to do anything regarding her eyebrows, let alone paint them on. 

4. Nike Le sopracciglia sono il loro più grande incubo. 

Se chiedete agli uomini, una delle peggiori tendenze popolari di sempre è Nike eyebrows. At first, Nike eyebrows didn’t look exactly the same as the logo but had some similarities. Nowadays, there are eyebrows made to look EXACTLY like the Nike logo.

5. Il trend del contouring è semplicemente TROPPO per loro. 

Contouring your face has become extremely popular these days primarily “thanks” to the Kardashians. Do you really want to know what men think about this trend? 

Per loro, il contouring è come dipingere un quadro e il problema più grande è che richiede TROPPO colore (trucco). 

According to a study conducted by researchers at Bangor University and Aberdeen University and published in the Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology, guys aren’t fans of that much makeup on a woman’s face. 

Come riportato dal Tempo rivista, “Men and women both preferred the images of the models wearing 40% less makeup than they initially put on.” 

6. They also aren’t fond of glitter in your eye makeup.

Uomini: Glitter nel trucco degli occhi? Doppio PERCHÉ?

Here’s the thing with men. They simply can’t understand a woman’s need to put glitter or other material on her face that doesn’t have any other purpose except for looking silly (to them). 

Additionally, there’s this saying derived from a 16th-century line by William Shakespeare: “All that glitters is not gold.”

7. Proprio come i gatti hanno paura dell'acqua, gli uomini hanno paura dei lucidalabbra appiccicosi.

Kissing lips that look sticky isn’t something men enjoy. Actually, they are afraid of sticky lip gloss so much that they’ll even refuse to make the first move regardless of how much they like the girl. 

Maybe I overexaggerated it a bit, but that’s just how it is. Just imagine a cat being afraid of water and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. 

8. Due parole: Fondotinta caffellatte.

Il fondotinta "cakey" si verifica per tre motivi: 

• Not layering your makeup in the correct order. 

• Dry skin problems.

• Not using the right skin care products.

Needless to say that cakey foundation is one of the top 10 things about makeup guys can’t stand because it makes you look older, and like you don’t take good care of yourself. 

9. Men simply don’t understand the point of nude lipsticks. 

Men: What’s the point of applying something that blends with your face? 

Ogni uomo morirebbe per capire perché così tante donne applicano rossetti nude. 

Un uomo ha espresso al sito di bellezza la sua preoccupazione e il suo fastidio per questo fatto. Byrdie con le seguenti parole: “I don’t get lipstick that makes the lips the same color as women’s faces.” 

I’m sure other men sympathize with him as well. 

10. Il trucco scuro per gli occhi li disturba. 

Molte donne apprezzano il fascino di un look smokey eye, ma siete pronti a sentire cosa ne pensano gli uomini? 

Bene, Bustle ha riferito che “66 percent don’t find a date more attractive if she’s wearing dark eye makeup.” Evidently, guys think that dark eye makeup is a little bit too much and off-putting on a woman’s face.
