Indipendentemente da ciò che accade, Dio è sempre la fonte della mia forza

Ogni volta che qualcuno di nuovo entra nella mia vita, tutti pensano una cosa: che potrei essere dichiarata la donna più felice del mondo.

La gente pensa che io non abbia assolutamente alcuna preoccupazione e che mi addormenti e mi svegli con il sorriso sulle labbra.

However, the truth is far from that. In fact, I’ve had my share of misfortunes up till now just like the next person.

Life hasn’t been treating me as kindly as everyone might think. I’ve had more downs than ups and I’ve cried more than I have laughed.

My heart has been broken more than once, I’ve dealt with some devastating perdite e ho dovuto trovare un modo per risorgere dalle ceneri numerose volte.

There were times when I felt hopeless and helpless; moments when I felt like I’d hit rock bottom and moments when I was surrounded by darkness.

Tuttavia, sapete cosa mi ha aiutato? La fede. Questa è la cosa che mi ha tenuto in vita per tutto questo tempo.

The only thing that helped me see the right path even when I felt like I was trapped in a tunnel, that didn’t allow me to give up and which gave me optimism in the toughest of times.

Vedete, Per quanto sia caduto in basso, ho sempre saputo che Dio era dalla mia parte..

E Lui è stato colui che mi ha fatto andare avanti, nonostante tutto; colui che mi ha dato una mano quando ne avevo bisogno e che mi ha spinto ad andare avanti in tutte le mie battaglie.

God was always there to give me the strength I didn’t even know I possessed. To tell me that I can make it and to show me how powerful I actually am.

Nella buona e nella cattiva sorte, Lui era lì per darmi ottimismo e speranza. Mi ha insegnato l'importanza di credere in me stesso e mi ha assicurato che riuscirò a superare ogni ostacolo che incontrerò.

Dio era lì per darmi conforto e rassicurazione quando ne avevo più bisogno. Per mostrarmi tutto ciò di cui ero capace e per aiutarmi ad andare avanti.

Era lì per darmi una spinta ogni volta che pensavo di arrendermi, per trasformare le mie ferite aperte in cicatrici e per ricordarmi di non perdere mai la fiducia in Lui o in me stessa.

I won’t lie to you—ci sono stati momenti in cui sembrava che Egli mi trattasse senza pietà. Tempi in cui mi metteva alla prova e mi sfidava.

Tuttavia, ogni volta che Dio chiuso una porta per me, ne ha aperti altri. Ogni volta che pensavo di aver raggiunto la mia fine spirituale, Lui mi dava qualcosa per cui essere grato.

Every time He didn’t answer my prayers, He replaced it with something even better.

Ogni volta Ha rimosso alcune persone dalla mia vita, He was sending me a sign that they didn’t deserve to be there in the first place.

Così, ora mi rendo conto che era tutto per il mio bene. Anche le perdite, i desideri non esauditi e le lacrime avevano uno scopo.

Erano lì per insegnarmi una lezione e per liberare il mio cammino. Most importantly—there to show me how strong a woman I actually am.

They were there to teach me that I can’t be broken so easily. To help me understand how to heal my broken heart and how to glue myself back together, without anyone’s assistance.

So, no, I’m not happy every single moment of my existence. I’m not always content with everything going on around me, nor do I consider my life to be perfect.

However, I am at ease. I’m peaceful because I know that even when something bad happens, things will find a way of sorting themselves out.

Sono ottimista perché la mia fede mi guida.

Because I know that God will never give me more than I can handle and most importantly—because I know He will never leave me to fight my battles on my own.

I’m calm because now I’m finally aware of my inner strength and moreover because I’m thankful for all of my blessings.
