You are draining yourself. You want to make everyone around you happy and loved. But, in the process, you are forgetting about the most important person—TÚ.

Although you think that you are doing good by giving all the love you have to others, that love is not sincere. It can’t be, and it won’t be until you aprende a quererte a ti mismo.

I know it’s hard for you to put a stop to everything all of a sudden, but don’t let la gente te utiliza. People are a-holes, at least most of them. They will use any opportunity they get to suck you dry. If you are a good person, and you are, they will destroy you. They will be needing more and more each day—hasta que no te quede nada que darles.
You mustn’t let everyone else be better and more important than you. Nadie tiene derecho a controlar tu vida. ¿Quieres envejecer y arrepentirte de haber permitido que otros te empujaran detrás de las bambalinas de tu propia vida cuando tu lugar está en la primera línea del escenario?
In your life, you are the most important—you are playing the starring role and the world revolves around you. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you will be able to say, ‘No’.
You will not let anybody down if you don’t jump to grant their every wish. If you don’t feel like going out and if you feel like staying home—stay at home. After all, if any of those people were your true friends, they would get it. But, no, these are the leeches who need your energy to feed off of. Otherwise, they would die.
Remember that you need to take care of yourself. It’s perfectly ok to just stop and rewind yourself. Reconsider some things. Find those that really matter to you because after all, you matter. Don’t forget that.
Sé tú mismo y quiérete primero. Todo lo demás volverá a su sitio.
