È strano come i giorni passino e non cambi nulla.

Suddenly you turn around, the year passes and everything seems different. Those are all subtle changes, so you can’t even feel them.

Il tempo passa, ci si guarda indietro e non si è più la stessa persona di ieri.

And that’s more than okay. You are not supposed to be the same. You are supposed to evolve.

Lavorare su se stessi, non essere stagnanti e testardi. Se si è così, le cose non cambieranno mai.

Embrace the change—the good and the bad.  

Quando vi guarderete indietro, vi renderete conto che tutto è accaduto proprio come doveva accadere.

Things always get worse until they get better. We know that in theory, but in practice, it’s harder to accept.

As the time passes unnoticed, it makes slight changes, andall those things that you thought were holding you down finally left you—when you thought there was no way out and the road appeared.

Tutti noi impariamo costantemente in questa vita. C'è una vera bellezza in questo.

La cosa che ho imparato e che mi ha aiutato di più è stata quella di esprimere le mie emozioni. Non per tenerli imbottigliati dentro.

That bottle is going to explode eventually and it’s not going to be pretty.

Ho imparato a farmi valere. A non abbassare la testa di fronte a nessuno. Ma anche a non tenere la testa troppo alta.

Because something or someone will slap it down. It’s best to be humble, but proud.

Il mio cuore si è spezzato ed è guarito. Pensavo che non lo avrebbe mai fatto. Credo che i miracoli accadano e che il tempo faccia miracoli.

From this, I learned I still have a lot to learn—about people, about love, about circumstances.  

Not everything happened the way I wanted it to. I didn’t want to be heartbroken. Chi lo vorrebbe?

Abbiamo tutti paura di farci male. But, sometimes sorrow is the way to happiness. I didn’t know that either. Now I do.

Tutte le cose che mi sono successe mi hanno reso più coraggioso, più forte.

Ho imparato a rischiare. Credo che questa nozione mi abbia dato più potere. Mi ha fatto crescere.

Perché l'unico momento in cui si cresce davvero è quando si fanno cose che spaventano, che mettono a disagio.

Che le cose da cui si vuole scappare, si dovrebbero raggiungere.

Hanno migliorato la mia vita in ogni suo aspetto.

I fall—I rise. I live—I learn.

As many times as I need to. It makes me who I am. I like that I’ve changed. I feel more proud of myself now.

Ora mi amo di più. Tutti i miei alti e bassi rendono gli anni degni di essere vissuti.
