An outgoing introvert is something between extrovert and introvert. All in all, people like this are endangered species but they are definitely worth getting to know. If you get the opportunity to date a person like this or even fall in love with them, there are some things you need to know.
1. We have good energy with positive people
When we meet someone for the first time it is very difficult to develop some kind of good vibes. The catch is that we feel a little bit nervous because we want others to like us but we are not quite sure what to say in that moment. That’s why our energy depends on people that surround us.
If we already know them and feel comfortable, we can truly be the life of the party. On the other hand, if we meet someone who we don’t like (for some reason) we will withdraw to ourselves.
2. We have inner dialogues
This is the thing: When we meet someone new, we constantly think about that person and try to find some common things that we could talk about. That’s why we have inner dialogues about people in our lives. We are just trying to have a normal conversation so we spend hours wondering if we should say something or if it will maybe sound awkward. That’s who we are and even if we want to change, unfortunately, we can’t.
3. We need some time alone
I am not saying we are people haters but there is a time of day when we want to be alone to recharge. That is our way of shaking the stress away and thinking about our lives. For every outgoing introvert, that part of the day will be the most productive because they will finally realize that things are not as bad as they thought they were.
It is like that moment when a light bulb goes off in your head and you finally realize that you don’t want to give a fuck about problems anymore.
4. We need time to relax
I know there are people who can fit in with every kind of company but we tend to be different. If we went to a barbecue at our friend’s house and we met new people there, it would take some time for us to relax and start a conversation.
In that silent period we will think about interesting things that we could say so others find us fun to talk to. I know this looks complicated but it really isn’t, it is just our lives and we have already accepted it.
5. People say that we are charming
We are so charming so people often confuse us as extroverts. They don’t know that it takes a hell of a lot of a time for us to relax and say something that makes sense.
We are constantly having inner battles and we want to be more open but sometimes we don’t manage to get where we want. But the smiles on our faces are some things that attract so many people toward us and I can say that it is our secret weapon.
6. We sometimes don’t want to talk
But that doesn’t mean that we won’t listen to you. Maybe we just had a bad day at work and we don’t feel like talking at all. We just want to be alone and get our thoughts together. When we finally restart, we can be the same us again; fun and cheerful people with the biggest hearts that you will ever see.
7. If we like you, you will know it
There is that special shine in our eyes when we look at someone we really like. If we like you, we will smile at you all the time and ask questions about you. On the other hand, if we are quiet then don’t even bother to talk to us because all that you will get will be: talk to the hand!
8. We can see what others can’t
It is very difficult to see that someone is not okay in a crowd of people. But for an outgoing introvert, that is a piece of cake. They will always recognize that sorrow in your eyes or withdrawing to yourself when people talk about something that hurt them. It is like we have some sort of sixth sense, almost like the instinct of a mother who is worried about her child. Things like this really make us special.
9. We sometimes avoid communication over phone
If we are focused on something we will definitely avoid any communication, even if our friends call us. We simply want to dedicate ourselves to what we are doing at that time and we don’t want anyone to interrupt us. When we finish what we are doing, we will find some time for our friends or family and compensate that time when we weren’t available.
10. If you lie, we will know it
Don’t try to deceive us because you will be busted. We have the ability to see even the smallest details in your talk or your behavior. Sometimes that is a good thing but sometimes we ask ourselves why we have to know and see everything. Some things are better not to see or know, especially those bad ones. But, that’s the way we are, so take it or leave it!
