Sometimes it is hard to decipher whether a guy likes you or not (especially if he is sending mixed signals to drive you crazy).
You don’t know what to believe and even less what to do.
But, the worst thing you can do is to blindly approve his every single action and turn them into something favorable.
For example, you wait for him to go to the movies, and he suddenly calls to tell you that he overslept. When you really like a guy, you subconsciously start defending him.
That is why you won’t be mad at him, and you’ll think that it is not a big deal.
Well, it is!
You should not be the one who waits. If he really likes you, he will go out of his way to show you!
He will put that fucking alarm on and say to his roommate or a neighbor to put one, too, in order to be one hundred percent sure that he will show up.
If he really likes you, he will find a way to show you. He will not let you wait because you are his priority. And he will do anything to prove you that.
I remember one time when I was trying hard to find the perfect gift for him for our anniversary. When we finally met, he told me that he had nothing to give me because he didn’t buy me a present.
When I asked him why, he told me that he was thinking of buying it, but he was not sure why he didn’t.
I was like WHAT KIND OF AN EXCUSE IS THAT!? You could have found a rose in someone’s garden, and it would have made me happy.
I just wanted you to show me a gesture of appreciation for God’s sake.
I wish someone told me: Get up, slap him in his face and do never date him again.
But then something unexpected happened.
He realized his mistake and immediately started to do something about it. He started to craft a gift for me from the things he had at hand.
He even asked the waiter to give him a pair of scissors and straws. He made a star from the straws and gift wrap and put on it the date from the receipt.
I still have this gift standing on my table to this day.
He did everything he could to make up for this one mistake, and his determination to make me happy is what counts.
That is how I learned that if he really likes you, he will definitely go out of his way to show you.
IF HE LIKES YOU:
He will try hard to remember all of the small things about you and what makes you happy.
He will not be afraid to open up to you and share his deepest fears or cry in front of you.
He will defend you in front of others, even in front of his friends.
He will never miss a chance to surprise you, especially if you’re feeling down.
He will never forget to give you a flower.
He will never miss a chance to wish you Good Night when going to sleep and Good Morning
when he wakes up.
He will be with you and will not give a shit about his phone.
He will not use social networks to show his affection.
He will come to you and say: This is how I feel!
He will not play mind games with you or any other tricks to manipulate you.
He will change his schedule, so that he can be with you.
He will not let you wait to receive a text from him.
He will text you first.
He will like you the way you are even on days when you’re all messed up.
He will let you know that YOU are on his mind.
If he likes you, he will never make you question it. He will do anything to show that he respects you, appreciates you and loves you.
He will make you coffee in the morning, hug you when you least expect it, surprise you when you’re sure he has nothing up his sleeve.
He will hold you in his arms like a delicate flower that needs to be nourished in order to blossom.
He will do it because he knows that if he doesn’t treat you the way you deserve, someone else will.
